We don't have any small kids. The only things that are must haves for me are my camera, extra flash card, cash, cell phone, my medications, and a water bottle.
I wouldn't mind having a snack bag of trail mix.

I can't decide if I want a bulky "fanny pack" or a small shoulder/camera bag.

What works for you all?

Fanny packs. I hate 'em- would never wear one anywhere near home, BUT they are easier to carry, IMO, and you could carry it over your shoulder if you wanted to.

I try not to carry anything. But when I do, I use a small camera case, or just a plastic ziplock FP pouch.

I have a one shoulder backpack thingy lol it's like a sling pack that I use. I carry a small clear poncho, an epi-pen, camera, a couple snacks (I have food allergies so they are a must), and a sweater or light jacket. OH and my autograph book, pen and some trading pins!

I'm a packrat...but I have kids (that's my excuse....yeah, that's it).

Headache med. (all of that sun gives me a headache by the end of the day)

Little containers of Crystal Light for my water bottle. FL water doesn't bother me, and it IS so cold from the fountains. I just add a little flavor when I refill my sports bottle.

Tickets, driver's license, cash, resort key, PS conf. #s, extra film, bandaids, maps.

Camera bag and water bottle on neck water bottle holder strap. :goodvibes :wave2:

(teen..:)) I carry eyeliner, mascara, my cell phone, contact case, Times & info ffor the park I'm in and maybe digital camera in one of the following bags:

My Coach Small Swing Pack It's really light and small and really convenient so I bring it to the parks

Winnie the Pooh (stuffed animal shaped) it's cute :-P

Ralph Lauren Backpack where the strap goes across the chest

or I don't carry a bag because my mom holds everything :-P

We found a really cool soft lunch box (well we have a couple, a red one with Mickey, and a regular one) The one that works really well for us the last couple of years is waterproof and has a mesh pocket on the side, to put a sports bottle. We put a water bottle in the mesh pocket, and everything else inside. (ie. camera film, batteries, wallet, passes, headache medicine, etc.) Works great for us! I have used the Mickey one for 13 years.

I take a passporter that I wear around my neck. It holds my cell phone, cards, and cash. Dh takes the camera and keeps it in his pocket along with his cell and wallet and the kids each wear wallets around their necks with room keys and spending money.

A backpack, it holds cameras, jackets, autograph books and my wife's make-up. We like to be prepared.

I bring 3 things on my trip: a fanny pack, a backpack and a purse. I use the backpack if we are going to be in the park a long time and will be shopping or need to carry things around.

I use the fanny pack if we are going to the park for a few hours, like EMH or MVMCP, etc.

I use the purse if we are going to dinner or to DTD.

That's me exactly! I have 2 special "Park Packs", lightweight, fabric backpacks, a special Park fannypack & a special WDW purse. They are already in my suitcase & ready to go.

What I carry varies according to what we are doing. But the essentials are, cards (AP, Room, CC) cash, camera, cell phone, water bottle on strap, small bottle with tums, advil, zantac, benedryl etc... & altoids.
