what do you always buy?

what are your must buys when in orlando?
ive only been once before and didnt do any research, so i just brought the presents for the family.
this time i would love to make the most of it and get a few bargain or unusual items.

I always come back with way too much stuff! But the one thing I always come back with is Disney Christmas Decorations - I want to put my tree up now!!!

The wife always buys perfume, trousers and other clothes from Lerner New york, Underwear from Victorias secret.
I buy shirts, ties and jumpers from Van Heusen, LL Bean and sometimes Eddie Bauer, jeans and underwear from the VF Outlet at Lake Buena Vista Factory outlet store.
We both buy shoes from either (or both!) Bass and Timberland, then something special at another store which could be jewllery, a watch, or something electrical (camera or accessories, ipod, etc..) as a holiday present to each other.

The LBVFS has specials on all the time. At the moment they have Mens Lee jeans for $12.87 and ladies woven tops for $4.87!

I always buy at least a couple of Tommy Bahama silk shirts, although I only wear them on holiday, buy some Oakley gear whether it is a watch, bag or shorts etc
And generally buy a Fossil messenger bag from the store at Universal.

There is often something I have lined up to buy before I go, next year's is a Tommy Bahama watch - let's hope Julie doesn't read this post!!

She always buys at least one bag and always a couple of pairs of shoes.
Photo frames from the Disney store are always a favourite too.
In many ways we are different because I only tend to buy things I would wear on holiday, where as Julie will buy jeans and jumpers etc

Josh gets plenty too, always buy him clothing at all the parks and like to get him surfwear like Quiksilver and O'Neill.

Plus the usual stuff we just see out there and buy at the time.

what do we buy! hmmm - it would be easier to answer what we don't buy.

This year we bought clothes in particular for DS managed to get hime Levis in 29" waist 36" inside leg, he was chuffed to bits to say the least cos he had a choice at home its always well this is what they have to fit you its that or nothing, Trainers again mainly for DS to fit now and the next size, again cos theres more choice, the only real choice here is 'high and mighty' (but at 15 he won't set foot inside) or the internet, digital camera, watches, tommy hilfiger outlet took alot of our money this year i seem to remember! oh and of course the obligatory disney merchandise and souvenirs. Already planning for next year - making a list of the shops to visit.

I always buy a ton of clothes in Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister. Generally it's enough that I don't have buy many clothes back here in between trips

I don't take too much with me though so I just wear what I buy once we've been to the mall

We always buy clothes, jeans, tops etc. Usually perfume too, and lots of manicure accessories (for me).

This years list includes shoes and golf accessories too.

I went for American brand jeans that are really expensive here and hard to find like Paige Denim Jeans, True religion. Also Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria Secret, Vans, surf brands like o Niel etc. I love the American brands and they are so expensive here. An o Niel t.shirt was $20 in Orlando, and I have seen similar at the trafford centre for £35 -£40, taking into account the exchange rate that is a massive difference in price.

DH is 6' 7" tall and wears tall man clothes and enormous shoes...
i really can only shop for his clothes and shoes when i'm in the states...
so i do....i bring back at least one suitcase full of clothes/shoes just for him...sometimes more....

and since DD and DS take after him, they have the same clothing/shoe problem...
so another suitcase full for each of them..

as for me....i love the bargains that can be had on designer clothing there, so i tend to go a bit wild......

DW always makes me take her to OshKosh for stuff for our 2 GDs, some of thier stuff is a bit wierd but she still manages to come out loaded down. my poor old CC

This is going to sound soooooooo boring after everyone else's designer shopping lists!

We always stock up on heavy duty zip-lock bags, Fruit Loops cereal and Lawrey's Seasoned Salt If I see any household and craft items in the supermarkets that we don't get here, I buy them if they're small enough to get home easily.

On a more indulgent note, DH gets all the fishing gear and clothing he needs in the Bass pro shop, and DDs (if they're with us) will hunt out the surf shops and places like (?) American Eagle, Aeropostale, PacSun, Delia's and individual shops with designs we wouldn't find here. Any Bath & Bodyworks and Yankee Candles shops usually get a visit too, and I look round the retail bits of places like House of Blues, Cirque Du Soliel, Virgin megastore for unusual gift ideas.

No big designer brands for us, really

I always buy my Clinique Cosmetics, underwear from VS, Jeans as they tend to do inbetween sizes and seem to fit better than UK sizes, Sketchers as they are usually buy on get one half price! and shoes for DH!! He never buys shoes so I usually manage to talk him into them on holiday. CHristmas Decs from Days of Christmas at DTD, CDs, DVDs, Special cross stitch kits from the parks.

I always buy pretty bras as they stock them for the more rounded figure. They're a fraction of the price I pay here. Also used to get craft panels to make cot quilts, cushions etc. They stock lots of both disney and other designs in Walmart. Last time I bought real Crocs for $29 an I plan on getting more next time we go. DD list would probably be Hersheys, Hersheys and then some more Hersheys

I always get the latest cross stitch kits from the parks. DD has to get her fix from Macys,trainers and make-up. Dh usually gets a new pair of shades from Oakleys.

We buy absolutely loads of stuff! I resent paying UK prices so we try to get enough to last us until our next trip. Must haves include Clinique, trainers & Levis. DD loves Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Aeropostale & Forever 21. DS loves skater/surferwear & spends hours in the lego shop in DTD his only restriction there is the size of the boxes it comes in. DH loves American Eagle & Old Navy and I am a sucker for Yankee Candles, expensive handbags & jewellery. We also take home a selection of favourite 'foodie' items like Lucky Charms, Twinkies, Twizzlers etc

We try and travel light by packing one case inside another and then shop, shop and shop. I like jeans and Disney shirts. There is also a shop next to Pondrosa on I-Drive which sells t-shirts with different comic printings. My wife likes jeans, t-shirts and generally Disney stuff which includes loads of Christmas decorations. When we are there we buy Southern Comfort, Budweiser and Hersheys. John our son likes character t-shirts.
