what do you always buy?

Pretty much the same as everyone here ;) , Timberland for shoe's for my DH he refuses to pay the cost for a pair over here :sad2: , shoe's and trainer's for my DD's, clothes for my DD's usually a pretty swim suit for them both as well as they seem to fit my skinny 7yr old really well :cutie: , this year Heeley's (which really annoy me :rolleyes1 ) and a new digital camera for my DH. Lot's of Disney merchandise from the parks which always include lots of soft toys!!. When can I go back????

Bobbi Brown and Mac make-up, Christian Dior perfume and DD buys Jimmy Choo's and Juicy Coutore (sp?).

Great thread!

Last time we got 'several' disney soft toys, all got disney t shirts, large disney beach towels, Levi's, Dolphins 54 Zac Thomas shirts for DS and DD, Reebok shorts, nike/reebok/tommy t shirts, bottles of Mountain Dew to bring home - I love it and just realised wouldn't be able to put it in hand luggage any more!, Disney watch, Winnie Pooh jewellery, zip loc bags (me too!) and clingy cling film!!

That's a lot isnt it??

Lynn
;)

Clothes for the kids from Polo, Tommy, Osh Kosh, WDW, Nike and Baby Gap. Any toys we cannot get here especially Diego. Kids books, lots of the character choc coins from WDW to use as incentives, stickers, parade spinny and light up things.

Clothes and shoes for DH from Polo, Timberland, Nike

For me: Clinique, tshirts and hoodie tops from Polo, Nike trainers and casual wear, DKNY bags, WDW souvenirs, park maps, always the current year WDW photo album, and my favourite Jergens Cherry Almond body lotion!!!!! (Smells like Cherry Bakewells!!!!) Wet Ones individually wrapped anti bacterial hand wipes to keep in my handbag and mini bottles of hand sanitiser for bag too.

Gifts for anyone who has a bday coming up.

Anything and everything that fits in the cases really but tons and tons of kids clothes. Gotta love Tommy kids and baby Gap at outlet prices!!!

Mandy :)

Oh where to start ...... I am a bit of a beauty junkie so love Sephora :goodvibes Also love Nine West outlet, Victoria Secret and Tiffanys ( if I have been really good).

DH loves all shops Quiksilver etc and pretty much stocks up for the year ;)

Kids get trainers and surf gear.

I always get a WDW ornament or picture, Christmas tree decoration and some pins :cutie:

I could go on ........

Maybe the question should be what don't I buy?

But anyhow

I tend to buy

Timberland boots
Yankee Candles
Sketchers
Halloween decorations
Toe Socks
Cards
Razors
Art supplies
Christmas decorations
Peanut butter m n ms
Disney sours
little brown bags
jeans
oakley t shirts
dvds
cds
kids books
novels
toys
and of course extra bags to put them in, and while Im shopping I think up great excuses to tell Chris why I bought so much!

Lots of Burt's Bees cosmetics. Just about everything from Delia's. Deisgner sunglasses. And as many bags of Cheetos as we can carry :rotfl:

I resent paying UK prices

Couldn't agree more, I had to picked up off of the floor when I saw how much things cost in the US compared to the UK, made me feel very bitter about returning home!

Tend to stock up at Ralph Lauren and Lacoste, some Nike stuff usually, and always bring back Disney/Universal photo frames. Always get a Disney photo album with the year on for the memories!

DH is 6' 7" tall and wears tall man clothes and enormous shoes...
i really can only shop for his clothes and shoes when i'm in the states...
so i do....i bring back at least one suitcase full of clothes/shoes just for him...sometimes more....

Snap - well almost! DS is 6'7" tall but DH is 'only' 6'2" and most of their clothes shopping is done in the USA. I'm just back from a trip to the west coast and Canada and we took a suitcase in a suitcase, which came back full. Included were 2 pairs of men's shoes, trousers and 2 pairs of insulated overalls for working in the garage in winter :rolleyes1 These things take up a lot of room.

My shopping contribution was:
Kraft Easy Cheese with bacon (squirty cheese in a can) for a friend. I think it's awful stuff!
Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares with raspberry filling - definitely for me :)
Aunt Jemima's pancake mix and a bottle of pancake syrup - mmmmm, lovely and easy to make up too.

We always come back with a dated Christmas Decoration too. I always buy my class the Mickey Mouse lollipops and then we usually buy a piece of artwork and a snow globe. They are always on the shopping list. This year we came back with the family decals for the car and so many people have commented on them that I will never sell my car!! Then there is the trainers - Converse this year!

We're just back and unfortunately were a bit limited in baggage allowance as shuttle flight was with easyjet - still managed to buy a bagful of Yankee Candles, 3 pairs of Sketchers ( 2 for DH and the half price ones for me !! ) underwear from Maidenform and the Haines shop, trousers, a few sweaters and tops for both of us, Fossill watch, CD, couple of tops from Van Heusen and a Guiness Top from Raglan Road ( all of these for Xmas pressies :santa: ) 3 new collars for our furry babys including a Harley Davidson one :goodvibes, a Tommy Bahama t shirt for DH, 2 necklaces, placemats and 2 giant bags of Ghirardelli choccies that incidently survived the trip home perfectly!!
Now that wasn't bad going was it

i forgot, the other thing i always buy - DVDs.....new releases and anything that hasn't reached our side of the ocean since my last trip...

I always get Idealist Skin Refinisher in the premium mall ($30 ish dollars there - £80 ish pounds here :scared1: )
also stock up on trainers either skechers or Nike and usually Nike sports wear, hoodies etc for Callum.

LOL Hilary - Zip Lock bags are always on my list when we hit Publix/WalMart- they're just not the same over here!!

On my wish list for 'next week' (boy, does that sound good;) ) are some more Crocs to accompany the ones I bought when skiing earlier this year; new clothes (lost nearly 4 stone so have been saving my dollars for some new clothes:banana:   ), souvenirs, Xmas pressies for many, photo album and photos of rides as well as any number of toiletries etc. And my very favourite - bang goes the weight loss - Almond M&Ms:love:

DH will be shopping for clothes, as will DD (especially any Roxy, O'Neil etc). She's also looking for new shoes (she is a mini Imelda Marcos); pressies for friends.

Lastly, I've got a list from family/friends ranging from shampoos, sweets, jeans and antenna toppers:)

BRING IT ON:cool1: :thumbsup2

misskrystal, where do you get the Burt's Bees from? We go in a week and I have some stuff I need to get, but don't know where in Florida sells it.

Kaslee, I hope you don't mind me asking where you buy the nice bras from?

Thanks.

So far i agree with:

Fruit Loops- love them! Found them in the uk for £12 a box!!! :scared1:
Converse- When i went out to America in the summer i bough two pairs for the price i would of bough 1 pair in the uk, plus they are gorgous!
Sketchers- £16 for these lovely pirate ones, perfect for POTC!
Pennut butter M'n'M's - but we more oftern bring Resses Pieces home! YUMM!
Disney T-shirts- you cant have too few

And my own:
Roxy clothing- i love their hoodies and they are pounds for dollars!
Jeans- Amazingly Cheap! I love Macys!

and if i could i would bring minute maid lemonade over, cause it is lovely, but i can't find anything in the UK that compares! :sad1:

OMG where to begin!
Top of the list is always Froot Loops :woohoo:
Gap jeans (not just outlet - the malls often have same stuff over here for half the price!)
DVDs - can't wait to get Ratatouille next month :yay:
Ralph Lauren towels - they do really good beach towels with bears on them, had ours for a few years and still soft!
Oh and as well as Disney merchandise don't forget to check out Disney Store as i think they do different stuff - I got a v cute Emille toy for £3 which they didn't have in the resorts!
Chips Ahoy, mmmmmmm
Dark Chocolate M&Ms, mmmmmmmmmm
I got some v cheap shorts in Walmart - $7 so I didn't care how much they got wet in Busch Gardens!
Sketchers trainers!!
I never take toiletries / suncream with me as we always stop at Walmart on the first day for shampoo, toothpaste etc cos you can get the same brands over there.
I think the list gets longer each time we go :rotfl:
