What do you all do the day before you leave for WDW?

Well, I work nights, so part of the day before, I will be sleeping. I took the night before we leave off.

After I wake up. manicure, pedicure, and legs waxed.

My hubby has class the night before, so I will be trying to get the kids in bed. That ought to be a trick.

When everyone leaves in the AM, I will do last minute packing and cleaning, My mom susprised us last time. She was sitting in the driveway, when we got home. Good thing I cleaned.

EVeryone gets home between 3-4, and we are off to the airport.

Shelby007 - Wow, what a great surprise for the kids. I wish I had a Mom like you!!! I can just imagine their surprise and glee. Have a great trip!!:smooth:

Hmm. Well, yesterday I:

Cleaned out the fridge
Washed Hubby's socks and underwear
Called Mom and gave her the travel info
Mailed anniversary gift to the resort so Clint will be surprised
Went to the tanning bed
Stopped paper

Basically I laid around on the couch and watched "Trading Spaces" since I'm type A and packed two days ago.

We have to plan our trips around my grad school to get the most time while missing the least amount of classes. This is the third (and last, thankfully) time we've done this. The first one we drove, the second we flew, and this one we're driving again. The day before, all I do is set out my clothes in the spare bedroom (isn't that what all husbands do?) My packing takes all of about 5 to 10 minutes. Originally we were planning on leaving Thanksgiving night after our meal, but instead decided to gain another night by leaving Wednesday night, and doing the meal at my parents on the Sunday beforehand. We'll be having our actual Thanksgiving dinner at some hotel restaurant in northern Florida most likely. I'll sleep in late on Wednesday, go to work, then class, and get home around 9:30 or so. We should be on the road before 10:00pm.

Because I wanted to fly, and my wife hates flying so much - she really goes out of her way to have things (including our 3yo) ready when I pull in as a way to prevent me from repeatedly saying "See, this is why we should fly". I pretty much pull in the driveway, grab my laptop out of my car, use the facilities, and hop into the Envoy to start our adventure. My wife's list is about 20 pages long, but she doesn't work on Wednesday's, so that helps things.

Wow, it seems like a lot of you drive. I haven't seen many people say that they take it easy the day before, everyone is running around trying to do last minute packing or errands. So no one just kicks back and has some Disney oriented fun the night before?:p
