What do we do

We (mom, dad and junior miss ) are arriving at the land of the Mouse on Sunday July 10th.Question is How early do they allow you to check in? We are staying at the POP.We will be in Orlando on Saturday the 9th staying with friends overnight and want to bug out early Sunday am and get to the POP by 8am.Any help or ideas?

You can check in as early as you wish, but your room may or may not be ready for you at that time. If it's not, they will hold your luggage and you can go on to the parks or whatever you want to do.

Go for it. I've done the same thing--but staying offsite,not with friends/family-- three years in a row. If your tickets are tied to your room, you'll be given your room key/ticket and off you go. If there's a room ready, you might be able to get in. Otherwise, you'll call later and your keys will magically work in whatever room they assign.

I have arrived as early as 10 a.m. and always been able to check in. Even if your room isn't ready you can leave your bags with bell services and head out to the parks.

The CM at the front desk will give you a phone number to call after 3PM to check on your room. If the room is ready when you call they will give you the Bldg name or number [depending on the resort] and your room number. If you are not familiar with the resort be sure to get a resort map before you go to the park. After you get your room info you can find your bldg on the map and you will be able to go straight to your room without stopping at the front desk. If your luggage is not in the room just pick up the phone and call Bell Services to tell them they can deliver your luggage.

We've checked in at 6:30 or 7AM at times. Not any problem at all. Gets you the room key, parking pass and tickets. Room might not be ready, but hit the parks and have fun until it is.
