I took my nephew (who had never been to disney) last year for his birthday. I made lunch reservations at Crystal Palace and I told them that it was his borthday when I made the reservations. They did not say anything about it over the phone, but when we got there to eat, they took our party in first and alone. They had all of the pooh characters come out and they put a chef hat on my nephew and had him decorate his own birthday cake (a mickey mouse head shaped brownie) and then we got to take pictures. They gave him a chef of the day certificate and once they let everyone else in to eat they had him come up and they announced that it was his birthday and that he was chef of the day and he danced with the characters. He loved it. I thought that it was gret because I never requested any of it and I did not expect it.
