Hi, what type of things do the kids in the 8/9 year age group get up to on CC?
We are planning on spending the majority of time together, but thought we might have a peek at the adults beach, mind you Im a bit wary of taking a dip as I heard that those big fish with sharp teeth tend to visit?!!
Anyway Look forward to your replys

Hello,
My 9 year old grandson signed up for several kids events at CC, but the only one I can remember was a sandcastle building contest. I know they had water fights too. Kids can go to BBQ lunch with other kids too instead of lunch with the adults if you want. The kids will have their own navigator and it will have a bunch of stuff they can sign up for ahead of time. My gs said there was toooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuch to choose from!!!!!!!
Too much fun!

My dd8 stayed in the kids club the whole day while we were on CC. They did several things during the day. They have a HUGE sand area for them to play in. Our dd11 went to the kids club for awhile and the minute we got to the adult beach, our pager went off!! Oh, well! Maybe next time. :sunny:

They also do a dig at Monstro Point (I believe its for whale "bones"). We can never get our kids to go while on CC because (I'm sure for understandable safety reasons) the kids can't swim while with the club, they are on a beach area away from the water (although they do have the water fights, I'm sure to cool down, and from what I remember when our younger one went briefly on our first cruise, there were shaded areas). Two cruises later, I have yet to glimpse the adult beach, although the family beach is very nice.
