lesroi said:Oh, this is so OT but OUR old man dog MILO loves ice cubes too! Same as yours, if you go NEAR the fridge, he comes running (well as fast as the little old guy can go.) He even loves to go "bobbing for treats" when I put a bunch of them in the big water bowl. He will stick his nose all the way under the water to get the cubes. Too funny!
Don't find many other dogs named Milo (and no, ours isn't named from Milo and Otis...)

That is so funny! Our Milo isn't named after Milo and Otis either. Before we got Milo, we had a Yorkie named Maggie, so their names fit.
Our Milo runs from the back of the house when he hears the fridge ice maker going, too! It's funny to see since Milo is a Corgi and watching those short, fat Corgis run is a sight to see! Especially when he gets to the tile kitchen floor and slides! Thanks for all of the suggestions. I do have a bowl for the reindeer food, so I'll probably leave that outside since reindeer can't come inside. (Hallmark had a cute plate for cookies, bowl for reindeer, and glass for milk and I just HAD to get all three!)
watching DH tromp out into the snow to dump the bucket, chew up the carrots and spit them around to make it look like the reindeer had a feeding frenzy. Maybe he'd prefer apples this year?!
