What do posters on the DIS hate most

Or 50 somethings that walked to school 3 miles alone and can't imagine a kid not walking 3 blocks alone now. Well, it's sad to say but the world is a meaner place than it was even 10 years ago.

Define meaner? Statistically it's much safer. Do you mean kids are more likely to be teased or egged on the walk to school?

The political posts are still not allowed, but the mods aren't omniscient and can't be everywhere or see everything. If you see a post that violates the rules then you can always report it.

Man I remember how contentious things were here pre-ban. It wasn't pretty.

I recently reported the first thread I've reported in all the years I've been here. The last I looked the thread is still open. At least, it was a few days after I reported it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who reported it either. People are getting away with the threads/posts by pretending they aren't political. Threads involving ACA, for example, aren't being closed. The topic is most definitely political. It's political IRL & it's obviously political here, but they're allowed to remain.

We are hearing it more, it's the media. Crime has definitely gone down. Kidnapping and molestation are way more likely committed by friends and family.

I would have voted "other" if there had been that option because I think the thing DIS'ers hate even more than strollers, pool-hoppers, and table hogs is when they ask a question about one thing on the DIS, and they get a hundred posts with opinions about a trivial detail in the OP that has nothing to do with the question.

Example:

"DH and I are going to Las Vegas for 4 days. It'll just be the two of us, the kids will be home with Grandma. Any recommendations for a romantic sit-down meal for two adults?"

And the replies all start with "I would never leave my kids with Grandma..."

60 posts later that debate the merits of whether it's OK to leave the kids with Grandma for 4 days, someone finally says "I think the Venetian should have some good choices."

Violent crimes were actually UP... almost 4 percent across the US
However property crimes were Down,
Almost 3 percent

Up from the previous year, but still at historical lows. It hasn't been this low in my lifetime.

I belong to a cruise FB page and I swear to you if you wait 5 minutes the same questions will be asked by 10 people. It's frustrating to say the least. How about people just pay attention and stop being lazy???? Same thing with driving. Don't beep your dang horn at me 1 nanosecond after the light changes, I am going people, I am going.......

Even though it's not happening more, we're hearing about it more than any other generation ever has, so of course it's going to impact our minds and our parenting. Our parents didn't know what was happening across the country or across the state. We now know about practically every case of kidnapping, molestation, etc, in the world.

None of the three on your topic even rates a passing thought with me - let alone hate one of them!!

But, in general, what I dislike (hate is too strong for me) about some Dis'ers, are the ones that just have to complain about the most trivial things on vacation, especially at Disney.
Let it rest, people, and enjoy your vacation that you worked so hard for - no one is perfect, and you can always find something to rant about if you try hard enough!
You can also find lots more to enjoy!

The same think happens on the theme parks and attractions board. "How are the crowds____________(insert: first week of May, 3rd week of Aug, first week of Dec, second week of June.......)? If people just did a quick search they would have all the answers.

What is the Olive Garden? I'm guessing a chain restaurant, faux-Italian style? Because I gotta tell ya, once you've tasted pizza or pasta from a genuine family run pizzeria in Italy, all our home-brews cower in comparison!
