Can someone tell me what sort of discount I get?

I'm thinking those are the same dates listed on the snail mail pin brochure I got, which is 35% off value & moderate resorts and 40% off deluxe and villas.

Isn't that the same deal they are offering on the website right now w/o a code? "Save Up to 40% on Late Spring or Late Summer Travel
at Select Disney Resort Hotels"

If you look at the dates you're eligible for, you'll see that it's much more than just late spring and summer. It goes to the end of the year.

THis looks like the 40% off deluxe and villas and 35% off moderate and value pin that is out. go to this link. Just give your code to the CM when you call. If it came in an email their should be a button on the bottom to book now and you can price out your trip. Check your spam folders on your email accounts. That is where the pins usually hide.

I got this same pin today  and it is good from 2/27 to 12/24 with several black out dates in between, so no this is not the same deal that is out on their website. It is actually better, because these discounts apply throughout the entire year if available (excluding black out dates). The discount offer on the website varies depending upon the season.

Also the email is a little misleading - it is not 35% off both value and moderates. I thought the same thing, but when I read it again, I realized that it probably meant 30% off values and 35% off moderates. I called and verified this. Deluxes are 40% off.

I was able to take advantage of this offer for May :cool1: and we are thinking about also going back in December, but have to verify my dates first.

Ah, so it is about 5% higher; I think the public deal is 35% off deluxes, 30% off moderate, and 25% off value (with a few exceptions where the discount is 5% lower).

I just found the mailer with my PIN code...it was in this big stack of stuff I had put aside to go through later. It is for the 40% off deluxe/villas and 35% off moderate/value.

Thanks everyone for helping me figure this out.

I just booked a room for my daughter and grandson #3 using the most recent mailing and got 35% off her stay at All-Star Movies. So now, she'll join my wife (Cathy), myself and Grandchild #1 and Grandchild #2 (Both of these boys are also hers) at WDW for a full-family vacation. :goodvibes

We were already taking #1 and #2 on the "Disney World Kids Stay and Play Free" promotion, when Samantha found out she would be able to attend as well. That being said, one can't leave #3 at home, so we hooked him up as well. :thumbsup2

Okay I did the math and I found out that it is actually 35% off values as we booked All Star Movies preferred room. I know I shouldn't trust the CM when he told me it was 30% off!

We are planning a November trip and are new to staying at Disney. How do you get a PIN for resort discounts? Is it as simple as signing up to receive WDW info or is there a specific place I need to go? Many thanks in advance for this info!

Here are a few idea to get you on their radar:
  1. Register on their website
  2. Get a Disney Rewards VISA
  3. Take a trip to WDW
  4. Order a vacation planning DVD

There is no set criteria that I am aware of to getting a PIN code.
