I second Disney Doll's comments. Strong chemo & rads is more than most can stand. He tried as hard as he could but now the anger would be that he is tired and in pain.
It hurts much less to encourage him on compared to accepting the disease and giving permission for him to give in.
Get your fiancé to fly out with your wedding dress & get married in the hospital chapel. I know my hospital chaplain is used to it as the pleasant part of the job. Have the florida party later but do not deny your step father the opportunity to see you happy.
