I have been to Disney numerous times, but always May - October. We are planning a trip this year the first few days in December. What do I pack? Our family includes six (DH, Me, 10, 9, 7, and 4)? We will be staying in a townhouse with a washer so I can wash as often as I need to. We are also flying, so I want to limit our luggage. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

This is our first December trip too. I'm planning on taking layers since the weather can be somewhat unpredictable. I figure if we have hooded sweatshirts or light jackets we can always take them off if it gets too warm.

EVERYTHING :rotfl: Seriously, December is one of my favorite times to go to WDW, however it is brutal to pack for. We always take jeans and shorts and I think the 4 years we have went that time of year we needed a little of everything (including heavier jackets).

December is the most difficult to pack for.I have had days where I was in shorts and in the pool only to be in jeans and winter jackets the next day.Generally though, the mornings are chilly ,afternoons warm-hot and evenings chilly-cold.SO LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS

We went Dec 11-17 and oue weather was chilly in the AM & after dark, but there where times during the day where it was in the mid 80's (DH would wear shorts & tanks tops!!) I also had friends who were there & they needed to buys hats & gloves at night:eek: I would suggest layers as PP's have & a little bit if everything. Since you have a washer & dryer where you are staying it will make it easier to get away with fewer items, just do wash when needed! Good luck!

I'm going the first week in December and we plan to wear jeans down on the plane and pack an extra pair. We also plan to wear a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt and polar fleece jacket down, along with sneakers. We'll pack another couple of long sleeve shirts, along with shorts, t-shirts and bathing suits. I'm also going to take several pairs of those magic gloves and a hat for everyone.

I say wait till the accu-weather 7-10 day forecast comes out before the trip and then decide what to pack.
