I haven't been to WDW since Dec '04. What do I need to know for a trip at the end of the month?

One thing is you should look and see what’s new that was not open when you went the last time. Like soar’n, Everest, Lights action motor stunt show, crush and gusher at typhoon lagoon… This way you wont miss out on any of the killer new stuff that you haven’t seen. And you might want to make your reservations now some are real hard to get.

Thanks! I forgot that the stunt show has been added.

If you want to see the motor stunt show plan your time at MGM around that. They had only 3 shows the last time we went so we picked the time we wanted to see it and planned the other stuff around that. It is a very cool show if you like that kind of stuff.

drteeth3 mentioned that you might want to make reservations now because some things are hard to get. Please forgive me but I haven't been to WDW for 20 years and I'm taking my kids (DS is 2 and DD is 6) in June. What kinds of things do you need reservations for? I know about the character breakfasts but what else?

Thanks....feeling overwhelmed trying to organize all my info!!

You can make dinner reservations at sit-down reservations...this will cut your wait time drastically at meal time. Plus, it also helps to have set eating times...or you'll ending doing what we make the mistake of doing...waiting till we are drop dead starving and can't wait anymore so we end up eating at a quick service.

In fact, I would strongly recommend ADRs for all sit down/table service eating accommodations because the waiting time at some of them is ridiculous and you are wasting so much time you could be enjoying rides, shows, etc.
