Starting to think its more important now that I can see goal than it was when I was loosing the weight to have a working scale in the house. My current one changes every time I step on it.
So what do I look for? What have you found easiest? Digital? Needle?

I have a digital, but it's not the best one.

The ones with the needles typically weigh you lighter than the others.

An actual replica of a doc's scale, which will not be cheap is probably the most accurate.

Good Luck!

Look for a scale you can hide and only use about once a week...don't become obsessed with the scale or you will drive yourself crazy. Judge your progress by your clothes getting bigger as you grow smaller.

Anyway...I got a great scale at target...not overly expensive...around $25 (a couple years ago) digital...weighs you in 1/2 pound increments. We are very satisfied with it.

Good luck!

Barb,
I have a Tanita and it is a digital and it is great! They start @ $40 and can be found at Sports Authority, Academy Sports, etc... Check out their website www.tanita.com for more info!
