What do I do when there has been a change in schedule on our flight?

I ordered all my tickets online and thus printed off all the info. I didn't get paper tickets.

Northwest just sent me an e-mail with a change of schedule......Do I print this or not?? (They didn't say either way)

I'd print it out for reference, but if you are asking about what you need to bring with you to the airport, either the receipt or a copy of the itinerary or the change notice NWA sent will be fine.

NWA has all your pertinent info in its computer. You'll just need a photo ID to check in. I usually just hand them my ID and say that I have an e-TICKET to Orlando. If I remember the flight number, I'll also tell them that. The agent always finds me (and my party). I do keep a copy of the receipt and/or itinerary with me, just in case, but have never needed it.

Since 9/11, however, you will need a copy of the itinerary or receipt (stuff you originally printed from the computer) or the mail NWA sent you for the flight change to get past security if you check in at the gate (because you either have no luggage to check or you checked it curbside). If you check in at the counter, you will have a boarding pass which will get you through security.

I'm sure that's way more than you really wanted to know, so I hope something I said actually answered your question.

Enjoy your trip!

No you don't need to print it. If you use curbside check in, just have a copy of your itinerary. Then go through security and go to the gate and you can get your boarding passes.

At curbside they will look at the flight number on your itn. and probably tell you that the time has changed.

You always want a paper trail with the airlines, whether it is the online page showing what you've booked, e-ticket receipts that they may send you, or anything else.

We went down in November with schedules in huge post 9/11 flux. All our flights got canceled, so we selected new flights. Fortunately, I insisted on getting new e-ticket receipts for this - it took an extra 5 minutes on hold. I didn't think it was important, but my wife insisted. Good thing.

When we arrived at MCO for our return, the curbside people entered our names. To their surprise, our luggage tags printed out for an itinerary the next morning through ATL instead of a non-stop in 2 hours. The people at the counter insisted that this was correct, since that was in the computer. The e-ticket receipts were the proof I used to insist that they get us home that night.

I just tried printing it out and got blank pages with just the Northwest Heading on the top??? Maybe I should just call them about this???

That would be a good idea to call them if you can't print them from the web site. They should be able to send you an itinerary.
