What do I do about a dying Betta?

When our Beta was suffering and on his way out we added ice to his water until he stopped moving, then put him in a ziploc and froze him in the quick freeze compartment. Just remember to go back and get him and bury him. We got busy, forgot, and I found him a couple months later. EEK!

OMG, were they serious? You must have been adopted--no way you are related by blood to that person! ;)

Well, actually he's the uncle of that man, also known as my husband. You know, the one that wanted to flush him? The man that this very minute, is out in our garage getting his fishing gear together for an upcoming weekend fishing trip.

When they fish and I'm around, I'll stand there and go, "Awww, don't hurt him when you take the hook out!".

I wonder why I'm being left home alone this weekend...

Yeah, I'd have that one eye staring at me. :guilty:

Just read the entire thread, and am wondering what happened? :confused3

drive down to the Gulf and set little one-eyed mom free. she'll get swallowed and become one in the circle of life. or the saltwater will corrode her alive. either way, you win. :thumbsup2
