What do CR Tower rooms really look like?

On one web site I saw pictures of CR rooms that were decorated in very bright, very modern decor; on another site I saw a picture where everything is done in beige, with what looks like a blue sofa sleeper instead of a day bed (and looking very blah). Which pictures are current? Is one set of pictures of the tower rooms and the of the garden wing rooms?

We toured a CR tower room on our Nov. 2001 trip and the decor was the very bright, geometric design pattern. I have not heard of them having any recent refurbishings so I am assuming that is still the decor. I believe before they put in the very bright decor it used to be the beige color.

We last stayed in the CR tower in Nov 2002. The rooms were the bright, modern "contemporary" art design.

I’m not sure, but here is my experience with CR rooms…

My CR Tower Club room (12th floor) was wildly decorated: click here for photos.

The photos that I have seen of “beige” rooms were rooms on either the 14th floor (full concierge) or maybe a few of the suites that are located throughout the resort.

Last time we stayed there in the tower in December of 1999 (stayed in the wings since) they were the bright geometric design, which I think is fun. Only thing is it doesn't go with the bathrooms, which are done in black marble and lots of silver. We call them "Darth Vader's bathroom" LOL. They're very convenient with the tub in a seperate area from the toilet, though. Even a sink in each area, too. They're nice rooms :)

Wow, what great pictures! You had a view of Magic Kingdom & the lagoon??? I thought it had to be one or the other? I really can't wait to stay here!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The "wild" geometric design is the new decor. The older beige/taupe is from a while ago. In the early 80's, the rooms were more of a taupe....I think the "beige" pictures you mentioned are from the early to mid-90's. The rooms were in the boldly-designed style on my last stay there in March 2000.

Ursula, the two view choices I was given for my Tower room were “Magic Kingdom” and “Bay Lake.” With my “Magic Kingdom” view, I also got a view of Seven Seas Lagoon. But I should note that my view also gave me a view of the CR’s parking lot (too bad the parking lot wasn’t located out of sight when the resort was built, for example, underground ;) ). I think the next time that I stay at the CR, I will request the "Bay Lake" view. I have read that it is beautiful.
