What Disney Inspired Pet Names Do You Have?!

Is there an Ashley somewhere in the Disney stable of characters? That's my gray cat's name.

ExH had an aquarium with about 25 to 30 tropical fish. One was named Nemo, naturally, and a few of the rest had Disney names as well. I could never keep track.

I have had several Disney inspired pet names. Right now we have 3 cats. The old man of the house is Simba (there used to be a Nala but she is gone) is almost 16. Then we have brothers rescued from my daughters back yard, Jack and Barbossa and the names really fit their personalities. I also have a pug/Chihuahua mix named Chewbacca.

DD named our orange tabby cat Simba.

I have a cat named Gracey, like Master Gracey! My mom has 2 dogs (Sully and Tiki, like the tiki birds) and 2 cats (Simba and Tinkerbell).

Gray cat is Tinkerbell and the white one is Simba.

I had a black cat named Tinkerbell for a short while when I was a kid. And I just recently adopted an orange tabby from my daughter named Simba. My mom had a cat named Tigger. And we had a dog named Toby growing up as well. If you aren't sure where Toby is from.... Toby Tyler (or Ten Weeks With a Circus). Though I'm not sure our dog was actually named after the character

I didn't realize how many people have cats named Simba. StepDD named our orange tabby Simba; he's the old man and Big Boss of all the pets. (Two other cats and a dog.) At the time, I had no idea the name Simba was from The Lion King. I remember a Kimba the White Lion when I was a kid, but not Simba.

Our Cocker Spaniel is named Daisy!

Other stepDD "gifted" us with a border collie mix this past summer and said her name is Daisy. Until I read this thread I made no connection between her name and Daisy Duck. No clue if that's the origin of her name; stepDD got her from a person who had to move away suddenly and couldn't take the dog.

When I was younger I had an orange tabby that I named Simba! Sadly, my mom got rid of him after we had him for 2 days because she was allergic, but she claimed "he got out." Found out the truth years later.

When I got a dog 5 years ago I initially named her Tinkerbell. After a few days, it went to Princess because she acted like a little diva. Sadly, rehomed her because before we got her she must have been abused by a male because no matter how my DH tried, she would shy away from him and get scared of him when he looked at her. He never raised his voice at her or anything, it was just him in general. I miss her. She was a great dog.

Our male cat (sitting up in my avatar) is named Toulouse after one of the kittens in The Aristocats. His younger sister's middle name is Marie after the little girl kitten in the same movie. Our sweet bunny just passed. His name was Oliver from the movie Oliver and Company.
