What Disney do you collect?

I collect a snowglobe from every year that I go and pins from special events but the main thing are the Precious Moments. I was lucky enough to buy a ton when I was a CM and got the CM holiday 50% off. I try and buy at least one each trip.

Christmas ornamaents, it's a tradition I get a new one every year. And anything Tigger or Tinkerbell. I love my Tink keychain, it's Tink pouting with an attitude. I have Tiggers stuffed in various sizes, Tiggers that sing and play Christmas songs, Tigger pens and paper, Tigger drinkware and tumblers, and jammies as well as jewelery. Lots more too, and going to bring back a couple more pieces on my next trip, only a few days left to go!!!

Precious Moments figurines and t-shirts with the year on them.

I collect everything and anything Alice in Wonderland. 1951 version only. I went to pre-order Beauty and the Beast a couple of weeks ago and I squealed when I saw the new Alice in Wonderland stuff. I know what to use my $20 off on a $40 purchase coupon on and what to ask for Christmas. ;D

Here are a few pictures of my room:

The only things that aren't pictured are my Cheshire Cat alarm clock, my Alice in Wonderland notebooks, pens, etc., my Disney Princess cake toppers, my Aurora jewelry box, Princess and the Frog movie poster and window stickers and my Lion King movie poster.

Happy to see, I am not the only one. LOL

I collect:

Swarovski Figurines
Jim Shore Figurines
Lenox Figurines
Precious Moments Figurines
Stuffed Animals
Snow Globes
Ornaments
Mugs/glasses
Fabric
Movies
Shirts
Pins
Magnets
Key Chains
Stickers

I am sure I am missing something! haha

I make my own collectibles, i.e. vintage-style posters. It's taken me a year to get around to recreating a single monorail poster, half a haunted house poster, and designing two originals, neither of which make me happy.

Now that's a slow, laborious collection hobby, let me tell you. I'd simply collect old posters, if I weren't a monumental cheapskate. I've never been able to shell out for the sake of collecting something, though I've always felt the lure of collecting.

I like to collect alot of Disney things my favorites right now are the

Jim Shore pieces & robert Olsweski light boxes

I have art prints, snowglobes, stuffed animals, jewelry, a bit of everything.

I especially love collecting stuff from my favorite movies like peter pan, alice in wonderland, sleeping beauty, and mary poppins.

Collecting is lots of fun

I collect Walt Disney Classics Collection figurines. Started in the mid 1990's and have about 25 now. I only have one or two displayed at a time due to space limitations and I don't like clutter. Love them though!

I collect Disney DVDs. Just the ones that interest me. Which is most of them. :rotfl2: Have around 90 (animated classics, Treasures, live action films, etc...).

Unintentionally, I seem to also be collecting Disney plushes. I mean, how can you walk into a Disney gift shop and not want to take one home with you. Thus, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Tigger and Pooh are now inhabiting my home. I love walking into my home and seeing the Goofy sitting on my sofa giving me a big cheerful smile and welcome home.

I don't have any pins yet. But their shiny cuteness is calling me...

I've went through several phases....pins, stuffed animals, etc but have really stuck to the prints. In my office at home I have all of the attraction posters from the rides and at work I have the big Haunted Mansion Stretching Portraits. LOVE them!

I collect posters from the movies occasionally, Pirates of the Caribbean series items, Nightmare Before Christmas items, Alice in Wonderland items, etc. Anything that finds my fancy.

Gosh, my collection is sort of eclectic also. I have my ebay prizes: my vintage, working "it's a small world" jewelry box, my pewter Donald Duck milk mug, my Weebles' Mickey Clubhouse, my Happy 33rd Birthday pin, and my WDW 25th anniversary medallion. I'm always looking for more ebay treasures. I have pins, Figment stuff, & a few Christmas ornaments. I "collect" pictures. A friend asked me what I did at AK everytime, I said take pictures of the same animals I've taken pictures of each time I've gone. I have pictures of the porcupine (a personal favorite) from each visit. He's been my Facebook profile picture more than once. I collect wine glasses from the Food & Wine festival. I was disappointed that they were sold in pairs last year & that I'm not going to make it this year. I also keep my PassPorters. I think I have them from the past four years.

I don't have any pins yet. But their shiny cuteness is calling me...

I resisted until I was told I was a winner during the "Year of a Million Dreams" & won a LE laynard. That was my undoing. I've bought pins ever since.

I wish my collection would be focused on one thing.

I have so many random items that I enjoy.

From kitchen items to jewelry to pins to stuffed animals to clothing.
It's all random and I can't say I collect any particular thing.
Strange...:confused3

Ohhhhey! Cool thread!

A couple years back when I took my 3rd Disney trip I became OBSESSED with Tinker Bell merchandise.....I know have SO MUCH it's crazy!

I really need a list of everything, but just a few are bags, watches, shirts, pillowcases/pillows, posters, blankets, backpacks, figurines, bracelets, necklaces, perfume, coin purses, purses, pants etc., etc., etc.

One year for my birthday when my friends asked what I wanted...I just told them anything Tink. LOVE IT.

There is soooo... much Disney to collect. We have the first pin set, the special pin sets of the individual parks in the collectors frames, Disney Christmas decorations, and lots of assorted other Disney stuff. What this post made me realize was what we really collect is Disney memories! We have been going as a family since 1991 and have wonderful memories from each trip to WDW , Disneyland Paris, and DL. We will be collecting some new memories on our first DCL cruise in about a month. So what ever you collect, do not forget the memories that come with the collecting.

I collect a little bit of everything Disney! LOL

I collect Beauty and the Beast stuff. I have 2 Belle barbies, several books, rubber toys from like Pizza Hut or something, little figurines, a Corn Flakes box :lmao:, mugs, ornaments, and more. I even have a Belle pillowcase from when I was a kid that Belle signed on our first trip to Disney in May :thumbsup2
Here are a couple of pics. This isn't everything but it's the stuff I have on display...sorry the pics are kinda crappy.

How do you do that? DS had to turn in his name tag when he left work at DL. Come to think of it, his name was spelled wrong, so he got an extra-I forgot that!
