what did your kids eat at 50 Prime time?

I want to go here but my son loves eating at Hollywood and Vine b/c its a character meal. I want to try something new and I know he would not like Sci-Fi b/c. Did your young kids like it and what did they eat?

Meatloaf, chicken nuggets, grilled hot dog, & macaroni & cheese are on the kids menu. My guys always get either the meatloaf of chicken nuggets.

One of my kids got the meatloaf and the others I believe got the nuggets. My kids all loved it here even though our waiter was not fun at all. They did enjoy the other waitresses having a blast with their tables though. My 2 DDs got the chicken noodle soup and they both LOVED it. Its on their list of go to agains.

I don't have a very young child (mine is 12) but he really liked the fried chicken and we were able to substitute fries for his side item.

My DD (9) likes the Macaroni and Cheese - if I remember correctly it looked like Kraft and DS (6) loved the chicken nuggets. What they liked even better was that I let them each get a shake which was HUGE! Then they had fruit for dessert. We really wanted to go here so the shakes were a bit of bribery on our part.

dd4 had the mac n cheese and she hated it...shes a vegetarian and its the same mac n cheese they brought out for her at HDDR, she refused to eat it both times.

The fried chicken and meatloaf are both hits with my dd. My son enjoys the fish sandwich and chicken pot pie (he's 15 and eats off the adult menu). I know my dd got a kids portion of the meatloaf off the kids menu, the fried chicken she and I just split and it was a perfect portion for the two of us.

Both my kids LOVE the peanut butter and jelly shakes.

I think your son will have fun. I know this is one of my son's favorite places to eat in all of WDW, when he was little and all about the characters, and now when he's big and all about the food. He also gets a huge kick out of the servers, the old style decor and tv's and just begs me to go each time.

MY niece had the meatloaf! She liked it but they gave her the adult plate and not the kids plate so for her it was too much food!

The chicken nuggets are the processed kind so DD would not eat them. She ended up eating part of the ham off of her brother's stacked sandwich.

My kids were both okay with 50's Primetime, but I'm sure they wouldn't miss it if we didn't go back. DD had the chicken nuggets and DS had the mac and cheese. It is the same mac and cheese that they sell at most other Disney restaurants. He took one bite and didn't eat anymore.
