What did YOU win?

I win a lot but I also enter a lot. Highlights for me are:
* $16,000 from being on Who Wants to be a Millionaire
* $1,000 in visa gift cards and a weekend stay from Hampton Inns
* a 4 night stay at COCoKey in Orlando last month that includes Blue Man Group, Wonderworks, and Boggy Creek Airboat tickets
* A HUGE win last Saturday. I don't have all the paperwork in hand yet so I don't want to announce it but it is a 10 day international trip for my whole family worth $22,000!!!! We are cancelling our October WDW trip to go but we may do a stopover for a few days at Disneyland on the way to out destination.

Good luck and pixie dust to everyone entering!!!!

WOW!!!! That's amazing!!!! Huge congratulations to you.

Lots of winners here! I personally have only won small things, the most significant being the grand prize in our gymnastics raffle: a week of gymnastics camp. Since I had 3 girls going to camp, it was a big deal :thumbsup2

I also won tickets to the circus once for having the closest guess to the weight of the elephant :rotfl:

And I used to be known as the cake queen in my family because every year, without fail, I would win the cake walk in the Halloween carnival when I was a kid. In those days you could only enter once. Now my girls always win, but they just keep entering until they do :rolleyes2

A trip to Jamaica for two from a clothing store in the mall 15 years ago. You had to mail the entry. Upfront parking space at work. Loved both of them for different reasons!

I won a hotel stay in cancan from last minute travel. Anyone remember the world for a dollar promo a few years ago?

I've won $400 playing keno on my birthday one year. I consider our free upgrade from Sports Resort to Polynesian a big win. Won a basket with Henry Ford tickets at a local charity event I went to last weekend. hmm... I usually win a turkey at at the Legion Feather party every year. But again that's for a charity that I pay money towards. I'm just another person who'd love to win a trip to Disney!

Back in 2009 I won a 6-night stay at the Grand Floridian!! That is how I found this website in fact :)

I have won other smallish things off and on my whole life. Most recently I won $50 in the JCP button contest. My boyfriend won $250 though so he had me beat.

Would love to win a car......

I once won two separate drawings on the same day at work...and won two Monster Energy neon lights.

I have won a lot of radio station swag - mostly crap - but fun nonetheless.

I don't think this is quite the same, but my family and I won a trivia contest that was a fundraiser. We donated the winnings back to the effort.

Wow! I did not think I'd have so many lucky people post!! Thank you all for your wonderful experiences!

I wanted to add that I did actually win something at the Christmas party at work 2 years ago. A 100 dollar Walmart card and a Nintendo DS. At the time I felt like the luckiest man alive!

For Disney I "won" a group fast pass during the Cars land grand opening! That saved us a good 14 hours in line! A cast member asked us to participate in an activity where the kid from the UP movie was at and we just went crazy with it and had everyone laughing so she gave our group of 4 a special fast pass to get on any ride! It was pretty awesome...

Moral of the story? Enjoy the magic and magic will find you!

I won $1,000 & 5 LifetimeTV Christmas DVDs in the 2011 Christmas l contest. Grand prize was $5,000 and there were 5 First prize winners. I was very excited as this came at a great time for us and helped pay for our Summer vacation. I have also won several small prizes through online contests. And some other door prizes. Still hoping for the elusive Disney trip also.

I don't play sweepstakes often but I did win on Disney sweepstakes captain jacks Jade and sterling silver dragon ring. I also won a pair of mickey ears and a lanyard with pins. I have won a few hundred on pull tabs and scratch offs over the years. One time I won $300 cash at a small local fest. Other than that I did with the dreaded jury duty drawing 3 years in a row. Never did before or after those 3 years and those were the three worst years I could have gotten picked.

Oh and best of all we got picked at family of the day at Disney Studios but we didn't enter to win that one. lol

I never win anything ---- if there were 6 entries in a contest and 5 of them were mine, my name would not get picked. :sad2: I just have no luck at all.

:rotfl2: At least you have a winning sense of humor - laughed out loud at that!

I use to spend hours entering online contests. I have won many things over the years. I won 2 tickets to anywhere Southwest flies and ended up not using them and gave them to a friend. I won a $500 room makeover from Lillian Vernon for a kid's room. I won a Jeep brand mountain bike. I won $750 when I was 9 in a Pepsi contest. I won a ton of small stuff. I would just randomly get stuff in the mail and open the package and it would be small items like a backpack or a purse, something like that.

They have a few really good websites that keep track of all the good online contests for you. Google online contests and you will get several sites come up. They usually list them by day expiring and they sometimes list them by category of what kind of prize it is for.

If you get a program like Roboform and enter all your personal info it makes it a ton faster when entering contests because you get to the entry page and click the button on Roboform and it fills in all your personal info on the contest form. Some forms do have to be manually filled in but a lot of them you can auto-fill. When you are going to spend an hour or two a day entering contests it is worth the $20 the program costs. It is also my lifesaver because it saves all your website log in and password info for you. I have hundreds of passwords saved in my roboform that I would never be able to keep up with if I didn't have it.

I never win anything. I enter online but still nothing.

I won a Little Tykes Log Cabin in 1995. My oldest was 5 months old at the time. We still have it, LOL! That was from a drawing at the Camp Lejeune Commissary grand opening.

From radio stations over the years: Def Leppard tickets, 4 passes to The Muppet Movie, 2 passes to Frankenweenie and a couple of CD's.

Not really a win in the contest sense, but also in '95, when the Mike & Maty show was on. I wrote a letter asking them to do a segment on video cameras (there were full size VHS, VHS compact and something else at the time) because my husband was deploying soon and I didn't want him to miss all our son's firsts. They called and invited me to be on the show for the segment. I flew out with my son (DH was at a school for 2 weeks) and they gave me a video camera and a $300 gift card to the Gap.

2007- a 4 night stay at Canyon Ranch Spa in Lennox, MA worth $7500.00
2008- 7 day stay at SSR with park passes and dining
2010 $1000 Amazon Giftcard
2012- I won my daughter a week at Pali Adventure camp in Cali. worth $2400, 3 $250.00 Visa GC
2013- 50 inch TV
I enter all on line

Everything about that makes me smile. I'm so happy when people that serve our country honorably are taken care of. Having been deployed myself, I know how much of a blessing that would have been.

WOW there are some great wins in this thread.

I've won some t-shirts, video games, cupons for free stuff but here's my story of the big one:

New Years we had a house full! Our oldest son was home from the Navy and brought friends... the other kids had friends over and we had family here.

To say I was exhausted, was a understatement!

I watched the New Years announcement and entered my first time right after that. The next day was full of laundry and cleaning and grocery shopping.

Leaving the grocery store that night I found a super bright brand new penny face up. DH laughed when I picked it up. I said to him, well it cant hurt!

The next day was the second and I was busy with all the kids. I ran by the computer and entered really quick. Honestly I didn't even give it a second thought. Well, I guess I did - I really like the romance package.

The following day was the third and I threatened everyone with bodily harm (I'm a former Marine, so they know I mean it - LOL) that it was sleep in day!

The house was pretty calm except I kept hearing my cell phone ringing upstairs. Nobody calls me ever except the kids and they were all at home. I finally drag my but upstairs and find the phone. 3 missed calls and a voice mail.

Honestly, I don't even remember what the message said. I call her right back. V was super nice and we started to talk about some things we have in common (Nationality) and then she said I was a possible winner! She emailed over my docs. The kids thought I was full of it!

So far we picked Disney World and the Romance package.

We just went to Disneyland and California Adventure in the summer. We took the Amtrak from San Diego right up the Pacific coast line. It was a amazing trip. There's such a big difference from the Land and the World. We really prefer the world. I went to Disneyland a lot as a kid.

This will be my 6th trip to Disney World - I love to plan almost more the the I love to go.

Were hoping to stay at the Beach Club and go from June 1st to at least the 9th.

June is warm but I love Star Wars Weekends! We've never taken the kids in June so I'm a little concerned they wont deal with the heat well. DH and I have been twice at that time with out them. We use to do Vegas every year, but we have more fun in Disney!

I'm all booked and here is what we won.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I won a pair of Dave Matthews band concert tickets on a radio station once about 12 years ago - I was the 105th caller:scared1: I cant believe I ever had that much free time! :rotfl:

In 2010 I won round trip airfare for 4 which was used to visit family and was really nice since I wasn't working.

At work once I won an iPod mini, back when they were new

Oh, and back during the year(s) of a million dreams I won 2 lanyard sets with the mail in entries. We spent 20+ full days in the parks during that time and never even saw the dream squad:confused3

Other than that just a few $1 to $5 scratch off tickets once or twice a year when I buy tickets.
