Last night was Red Lobster, it's Lobsterfest you know. DBF and I shared the lobster artichoke dip, it was delish!!! And we shared the Maine Lobster with shrimp skewers, served with broccoli and rice pilaf......soooooooooo good!! I had Boston Iced Tea and DBF had Coke.
We don't eat there very much but Monday was a hard day for me, I worked 9 hours with no breaks and I didn't want to cook when I got home. lol So he met me at RL and we grubbed.
Last night I worked late again and had to stop at Raley's on my way home so we had hot dogs, cottage cheese and Honey BBQ Fritos.
OK you asked for it, I was trying to spare everyone, but here it goes. My dinner that night was not cold; hence hot grub. It was prepared by cooks whose background is in livestock roundup cooking. The steak was a bit tough, more like beef jerky. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and had those little black eyes in it. Not attractive, kind of like mean, nasty people. Anyway, the applesauce was more like apple mounds, because the cooks had not pureed the apples very well. I was hoping that dessert would be tasty, but not so much. Little Napoleons were served, made from real little people named Napoleon. They were so cute, but not tasty. There was a really annoying after taste. I am so glad that I had my Rolaids.
~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~
Buffalo Wild Wings, went with the kids, we had fried pickles and lots of boneless wings (wing Thursday, they were .60 cents per wing!) our sauces were honey BBQ and Parmesan garlic. Soooooooooooo yummy!!
lol ski, biscuits from a tube, my kids looove those, we make 'em a zillion unfortunate ways: pizza cups, hamburger cups, enchilada cups, as calzones, donuts....the list is endless.
