Just got free dining 2 rooms POP Oct 29-Nov 6th

How did you make out?

I got All Star Music from Nov 30-December 7 free dining from a pin.

Wanted AoA, but since it was excluded, I wanted Pop...which was sold out of pin rooms.

So I'm calling every day until my date, and hopefully someone will cancel and I'll be able to brag that I got a Pop room with FD instead.

We went from POR, not available, to a Cabin in Fort Wilderness with FD and $1100 less!!! Nov 15-23. Here we goooooooooooooooooooo!

I started calling right before 7am and at EXACTLY 8:30am, the time I was supposed to be punching in at work, the CM answered. 90 minutes - UGH!

Great news is I was able to switch from ASMo Preferred to Pop Std. for $4.96. I really wanted Preferred, but I wasn't going to pay another $100 (would rather put that towards MNSSHP or a tour). Was sort of bummed I didn't get the park ticket rate I originally booked our ASMo trip at. If I had, I would've spend the extra $55 for Preferred. But FD more than makes up for it!

I almost cancelled this trip a few weeks ago due to some unforeseen financial issues but decided to play the odds and hope for FD, which essentially eliminates almost all spending $ for the trip.

Music from Oct. 23-26. Quick service dining was free. Upgraded to regular dining for $100! That's HUGE! So excited.

I'm off to read all I can about how to "do" free dining, since I've never had it before!

I got Music for 5 nights and my rate went up $200. And when I check it online it's $200 cheaper. I don't understand what the difference is. I didn't add anything.

9/29-10/5 POR. Preferred wasn't available so garden view and saved $1760.

For what it's worth, was on hold on cell over hour.... Got through on land line and waited 3 (yes three) minutes to talk to CM. I did say that it was a new res at automated prompts instead of existing res.
Not that it helped, all 30% for Yacht and Poly were gone and only FD at riverside was princess theme room which we took...

I was only on hold for 7 mins after trying to call about 15 times!!!


I changed my current reservation for 16th - 20th November POFQ standard room to Wilderness Lodge standard room. I was paying for dining but since I got it free it was only $195 to upgrade to the deluxe.
