What did you do today?

A whole lot of nothing! Only the second weekend so far this year I didn't have to work at least one day, and the first Saturday this year with no kid sports. So, I took advantage of the opportunity to be lazy! We did just get back from the local HS production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

DH and I spent the afternoon shopping for things for our remodeling project. We bought a new stove and picked out our countertops. :)

Went out for lunch and came home and enjoyed a quiet house. ;)

I watched news, ESPN, and then a could programs I had DVR, Bates Motel and Dallas

Do you like The Bates Motel?? I saw the original episode and thought it was dumb

Beautiful day in NJ, I worked, excuse me, I am still working a 16 hour shift. Been here since 7am get to leave in an hour. My husband cleaned up the backyard with the kids. Can't wait to see it tomorrow after work......gotta be back in at 7am:(

Worked til noon, came home, changed clothes and finished the last couple chapters of the book I was reading in between napping in the recliner. Then later went to Walmart and spent 2 whole dollars then met my 2 daughters and granddaughter at a local Mexican restaurant for dinner. Now yawning, ready for bed.....

My daughter has an invitational track meet today. It was about 39 and super windy, and I drove the 1 1/2 hours to watch her and froze. I am now laying on the couch with Vaseline on my face to soothe the windburn. But my daughter (and her friends) were happy cuz I was the only parent there..

Spent 9 hours tailgating the Penn State Blue/White game. It was in the low 40's/upper 30's with miserable wind all day...it actually snowed briefly a half dozen times. Miserable. The things I do for my brothers!!

Then I came home, took a nap, cleaned up from the tailgate and have been sitting on the couch watching TV under my heated blanket since 9! :)

87 degrees and sunshine today. Gorgeous day!:cool1:

This morning, my husband and I drove over to see what was done on our new house the past few days (sheetrock!), then went to lunch at a nearby golf course. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful view of the golf course, a small lake and mountains in the distance.:)

Later in the afternoon, I finished one book (Laura Bush's biography) and started another book (Palisades Park), then went to Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, and Fry's for a few groceries.

We had Chinese take-out for dinner. I am now on my laptop while watching The Golden Girls. A very pleasant day!

My wife had a hair appointment and went to the gym, so I cleaned the house, did the dishes, etc. Made burgers for lunch, laid around and watched movies with the kids the rest of the day!

Got up at 4 am , drove to Orlando , sat on balcony over looking DTD and drank a cpl of glasses of wine after ten hour drive . Discussed with hubby how we now hate long drives and wont dare do this again. When we were in our 20s we would jump in car and drive for days , closer to 40 now , this is our last road trip to Disney lol. Flying only from now on.
Text with wherespiglet .. another Diser and now listening to hubs snore. I think I need another glass of wine and a melatonin . Pretty productive day if you ask me lol. ; )

Went to DD14's volleyball tournament (they came in 2nd :thumbsup2). Then did laundry, and vacuumed. Then took DD to her sports physical for next school year.

Spent 9 hours tailgating the Penn State Blue/White game. It was in the low 40's/upper 30's with miserable wind all day...it actually snowed briefly a half dozen times. Miserable. The things I do for my brothers!!

We are! I watched O'Brian when he had the headset on today online. That was cool!

I cleaned. Played referee with all the neighborhood kids in my house. Did some dishes.. Right now I'm waiting for the moon to set so I can watch the meteor shower. I'm a night owl anyway :thumbsup2

Working on flood restoration in my basement. Better than yesterday when I had to do flood demolition.

Went to work from 7:45 -9:30 am. I woke up at 2:30 am last night with a stomach ache and still had it when I got home so I spent most of the afternoon on the couch either napping or watching TV. Finally got up and made dinner of BBQ chicken breast, baked potato and salad. Then back to TV and the DIS.

Went to prenatal yoga this am

Did errands afterwards ( babies r us, target, trader joes, Victoria secret). Did some laundry, wrote thank you notes from my shower, walked the dog, set up the pack n play, swing and baby proofed the house. Then I mowed the lawn and pulled weeds. Finally we went to dinner at the boathouse and Ted drewes for a concrete.... :)

I'm exhausted!

My parents surprised me by asking to come over. They bought a wagon for the boys, so we played in the yard with it. I drug my mom to the local hardware store to look at plants and get some plant killer. Went back to my place and my DH and dad picked up Mexican for the boys, a burger for me, and a pizza for everyone else. It was an awesome day, but I am exhausted!

Cleaned my guest bedroom: sorted all the craft suplies, cleaned the desk, made the bed
cleaned the bathroom and started the laundry in the tub (soaking)
cleaned my bedroom: tidy of the closet, moved two bookcases, made bed and moved the stuffed animal pile
cleaned the kitchen closet
Ran the dishwasher (ok ok I didnt empty it yet)
Found the kitchen table under the pile of stuff

So tommrow:
Hang living room curtains
Hang bedroom curtains
take out 8 million boxes of trash
Empty dishwasher

Then comes monday and work and REST!!!

Lazzzy..

Stayed in bed or the sofa until about 4pm. Ordered Pizza.. Watched hockey, and then washed the floors and did laundry..
