What did you do today ?

We loaded up the GC with some ice cold drinks, poles, bait and Bailey, went back to our pond and caught these.

When I was a youngun', my grandmother would sometimes make us catfish and eggs. She mixed the eggs in with the catfish meat and it was unbelieveably good. I think she may have fried the eggs but can't exactly recall. All I remember was how good it was.

We didn't have it too often because we mostly caught bass, bream, and crappie. But every now and then if we were fishing with live worms and we were fishing deep enough, someone would happen to snag a cat. :thumbsup2

We went to Knoxville in 1982 for the world's fair and had that at a small diner at the motel we stayed at one night just north of Knoxville. It was unbelievably good - especially for me to remember it 28 years later!!!!!

Hey, I'm another former Buffalonian! Grew up in Cheektowaga. (I know...Gesundheit!) Lived in Syracuse a few years, then back to Buffalo for college.

I spent my weekend working the entire three days (with a little break for grilling and sparklers)...but I got a TON done and it was Disney-related, so I'm a very happy gal this morning. :thumbsup2

What will I do today. I'm doing this because it's raining, again, like crazy.

When DW is out of town, I work nights instead of days. That way, Buddy, see avatar, doesn't have to stay trapped all day in the house, not my Bud. A neighbor can walk him at night but not during the day. Anyway tonight, not today, Magicbus, me, will be a Magic(Kingdom)Bus, until 11:30. Who knows, maybe I'll pick up some Fiends.

:rotfl: We prefer the "Land of the Crabapple Trees" designation -- spent my childhood climbing them. (Okay, and eating brats and beef on weck...)
Several weeks ago all the family was over for dinner and we were all set up to eat out on the patio. then it started raining, so we grabbed our chairs and dishes and went into the garage to eat. We all commented how it felt like we were in Cheektowaga, where every other home has screens over the garage door in the summer to convert it into the "Summer Garage". The only things missing were the pink flamingos and the Mary on the half shell in the backyard.

I was half way to work when I realized I was wearing flip flops. Had to turn around, go home and put on the work shoes!
