What Did You Do Today

We were up until 2am this morning and after 6 hours sleep I put soup on to cook in the slow cooker (have to do this for DH its a tradition)We decided to take our adopted West Highland Terrier Freddie to the beach for a walk. ( he is our granddaughters dog really but he lives with us).
It was a really nice day not anywhere near as cold as we expected and we quite enjoyed our walk there were lots of people out today, more than usual on New Years Day.Just waiting for our soup now its just about ready then we will have a glass of wine and watch Miss Marple on TV.I will record Jonathan Creek as DH doesnt like it.

I spent most of the day re-arranging the photo galleries on the web site I'm puting together for myself.

I'll be recording Jonathan Creek as well as I didn't get much sleep last night and as I have to go to work tomorrow I don't want to be up late tonight.

Had a really lazy day today as we have had visitors on and off since last week and today was my first real day 'off'.

We had a pyjama day (only DH actually got dressed) and have been very lazy - watching telly, eating the remains of the Christmas choccies and playing games.

I've been staying with my mum in Worcestershire for a couple of days. We had lunch with my brother and SIL and then spent the afternoon driving home to Surrey.

I'm pleased to say our house has warmed up now. (But the weather is definitely not as cold down here as it was at mum's.)

I had a nice lazy morning then went shopping for an engagement ring.

Waiting to find out if I have to work tomorrow!

I cooked a big Christmassy dinner today,Turkey,roast pots,brussels,honey+maple roasted carrots+parsnips,apple,leek,sultana+chestnut home-made stuffing,pigs in blankets+yorkshire pud.Dessert was mince pies+vanilla liquer cream.

We watched Shrek2,Jump In+HSM1 thru the day+have just finished playing 3hours worth of games Monopoly Junior,Guess Who Extra+Hungry Hippos whilst munching on Quality Street,Pringles+Cheese Footballs.

Once girls have gone to bed me+Hubby will watch Atonement+have a drinky+if we have any room left in our bellies-we will share a tub of Hagen Dazs Praline+Cream.x.

We took the decorations and tree down and de-cluttered the house, including a complete re-org of my wardrobes and dresser
2 black sacks of rubbish, 1 for charity and 3 for freecycle.
Like Joh's household my girls were PJ'd all day - I finally had a shower and got dressed at around 4pm then we all watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cuddled up on the sofas.
Girls are in bed now but DH is complaining of cabin fever so is off out for a walk.
Just seen the Cadburys Creme Egg ad on TV

We had yet another exciting day in A&E!!!!

Was round my cousins last night for a little gathering, we went to bed about 2.30am after I had been at work all day. Got up about 9.30 then we all went out for a lovely meal at a countryside pub. Came home to find my dad has had a tidy up of the computer room

Hopefully have an early night as i'm at work for most of tomorrow

I too have had a PJ day!!!!

I cooked Roast beef, Roast pots, Potato & Onion, Carrots, Brussells, Broccoli & Yorkie puds at lucnh time. Then we watched some of Shrek 2, Pixar Short films on dvd & Hellboy 2.

I have just spent the last hour or two writing up Day 4 for my Trippie. Now hubby is running me a nice hot bubble bath and then we may watch another film, maybe Dark Knight or Mamma Mia if I get my way.

Tomorrow I will be taking down the xmas decs & having a good clear out of the old ones whilst I am at it!

Well my DH got in from work at 2.45am this morning
And then we spent the day celebrating his 40th Birthday Went to my Mum's who had cooked a lovely meal for us all and then we spent the afternoon on the Wii fit and laughing at my Mum & Dad trying to hula hoop and then this evening we've had a really lazy evening lounging on the sofa in our pj's

We've had a relaxing family day too...

We went out to Go Outdoors (which was suprisingly busy!) and got my Mum and Dad a tent for when we head to the Grand Prix at Silverstone in June why they're on sale at the moment. Managed to bag myself a lovely North Face hoodie whilst I was there too, so I was quite pleased with myself

Then we were even more lazy and went to McDonalds because we didn't know what to cook Came home and we've all sat and watched TV and played Wii Fit since then...going for an early night now though, as myself and DBF are going to head to Chester Zoo tomorrow for the day...I want to go see the new baby rhino...aawwwww
