I also deleted the email from disneyshopping.com before I had a chance to fill up my "cart".![]()
I just started logging on to the freebies link a while back and have been enjoying the mail ever since. I have been researching how to save money on groceries but as of yet have came up empty due to the fact that my kids are such picky eaters and hubby insists on meat. I also have been in search of coupons but as of yet come up empty, our local paper very rarely includes coupons so I don't see the benefit of purchasing the paper. Would like to know more about buying coupons on e-bay. I haven't seen that yet, will keep looking!
) at Off Campus. It was used and $5 cheaper than used at the campus bookstore.

Well, I think this will save money in the long run. I typically buy 6 boxes of Eggo waffles (my commissary doesn't have generic) per month. I took advantage of the 19.98 Mickey waffle on the other thread. I know it will save me money to make my own, I'm thinking I'll make them on the weekend (I have a recipe that makes 12), then freeze them for the week. Does anyone else do this and do they taste okay like that?
I do this. I buy a huge bag of pancake mix from Costco and will make 40 waffles (or pancakes) at a time. What I usually do is place the waffles on a cooling rack after they are done and while I am making the rest to cool and dry them a little. Then, I place them on a cookie sheet (not touching each other) and if I have a lot I layer them with wax paper in between. I place the cookie sheet in my big freezer for a couple hours to sort of individually freeze them, then I stack them in a freezer ziplock bag, as many as will fit in there. By then, they won't stick to each other and are easier to take out individually later. We usually toast them like Eggos for the kids....but if I am running short on time on my way to work, I will heat it up in the micro for myself. The toaster makes them more crunchy which the kids like.
