What did you do this fine Saturday?

Took my kids to spend the day at Disney Quest, Then they came home and swam for a couple hours.

Slept in late, had a light breakfast, watched the music video countdown, went for a run, took a shower and such, lunch, then to my best friend's birthday party, and just got home right now....I think I'll go have some QT with my sister since she just got home from a week in South Carolina!!(oh I envy her!! AND her tan!!)

Was up at the crack of dawn to drop my DS and his team mates off to wiegh in for todays wrestlings matches.
Sat all day in a stinky gym watching my son beat up on other kids uhhhh I mean Wrestle yeah Wrestle the other kids .

*Went to my son's soccer game (he scored a hat trick) woot!

*Went to ci ci's pizza after the game. (blah)

*Went to block busters and rented the haunted mansion.

*Watched the movie

*Took a nap (after , well almost after lol)

*Went to my parents who were watching my sisters kids and had dinner got tired of them fighting came home.

*Dising and watching my son play harry potter on PS2

Well... let's see.... I DIDN'T DO SQUAT!!!

I really need two Saturdays, one to do nothing and one to get cleaning/errands accomplished.

Sundays we spend most of the morning and early afternoon at church so that day is usually a wash.

I really need a 3 day weekend!

I live in Jackson. it took us about an hour and a half to get there. didn't mean to put down cape may we like it there. dh and I spent our 10 th anniversary there a few years ago. went to a restaraunt called Peaches. do you know that one?

Slept in a little (not long enough), then drove about an hour to Skaneateles for scuba stuff. We had to take a test, and then we were able to dive ... well, most people in the class were able to dive ... I've been suffering from the cold that won't go away, and diving with clogged sinuses is not fun, so I stayed dry, and helped the staff with equipment. Also apparently managed to get a slight sunburn.

Watched my beloved Red Sox beat the Yankees AGAIN!!!

Watched our beloved A's drop another game to the Angels. We recorded the Sharks win over the Avalanche to watch later and now we're watching the Giants/Dodgers game. I should do some laundry.

I woke up at 5.30 to water the front lawn before it got hot....(it was 86 in Norwalk today), then me and my DW went grocery shopping and I went with her to a Pampered Chefs party..........

My band marched in a Little League Opening Day Event. As marches go, it was easy. Down a busy stretch of road into a park. Also played "O Canada."

Then 2 and a half hours on the soccer field watching DS 10 try out. Same time, same thing tomorrow.

I worked oncabinets in the shop for couple hrs this morning. At 11 I took DS who is 9 to our local cub scout pinewood derby race. He came in second at our pack race so he and 2 other boys represented our pack at todays district meet. He would have been happy to just win one race. But when it was over he won the whole thing out of 30 cars and 19 rounds! What makes it more special is Casey has a learning disablilty and this was probably the biggest thing in his life that has happened to him.

High school soccer tournement today for DD and we took FIRST PLACE woohoo!! Also my DS with special needs had his opening day baseball parade today. My oldest had to work poor thing but the rest of us had a great day!!

Went to the Adventuredome indoor amusement park at Circus Circus. We were celebrating our DD's excellent report cards.

congratulations to your son, I am sure he is so proud of himself!! Way to go.

Me, I got up early and finished painting my living room (sage green). Then I went to my son's t-ball game. After t-ball, came back and had lunch w/ my mom. After she left we put the living room back togther so to speak and I vegged while DH did some laundry, DS napped and we watched the NFL draft. We had an early dinner at the japanese restuarant we love, then made a home depot run and finished off the day be changing all the knobs on the kitchen cabinets!! Very busy day.

Today is dedicated to all fun. hopefully some more outside time if it is nice and then later in the day we are going to the Ringling Brothers Circus!!!

I took the dog to obedience training and then took my 2 dd's to Castle Island to take a walk and let them play at the playground. It was beautiful but windy. The best part of being at Castle Island is that you can watch the planes take off and land at Logan airport. Wish I were on one of those planes! Hoping to get more yard work done today.

Yesterday was great fun . DH went to Home Depot at the crack of dawn (well... for him anyway!) and rented a two-man post hole digger!!! Then we spent the rest of the day being yanked around and hit in the knees by this sadistic machine!! After working for a pretty steady 7 hours, we gave up with all 9 holes only about half done!!(Keep in mind, we live in the "GRANITE" state!) We showered, returned the machine to the store, got a quick dinner at Boston Market with the kids, and came home and collapsed in bed. After church this morning we will return to the fun task of digging holes with a manual post hole digger!! And imagine, some people actually chose to go to WDW during their April vacation... and they miss out on all this kind of fun!.......................... P

We had our alum ceremony for graduating seniors in my sorority. Afterwards, I went to a fraternity formal in Indiana. It was a long day...
