What did you do for your 21st?

I was pregnant with my oldest. All of my friends were unmarried and no kids, they invited me out to the bar, because that's exactly what a pregnant 21 year old wants to do...

My youngest was 6 weeks old when I turned 21. Bars and alcohol were NOT on my radar either. My mom gave me a 4 pack of Wine Coolers. They were in my fridge for over a year before I had one.

Drinking age here is and was 18.
Probably went to a bar with friends like most weekends.

I joined a couple friends for dinner the the 4th floor sports bar at the Mall of America. We played some games, watched some baseball and had a few beers. I was home in bed by 10pm.

We went out for a family dinner at one of my favourite restaurants. My parents gave me the option of a big party or spending the party budget on a nice gift and just going for dinner to celebrate, and I chose the latter! Drinking age here is 18 so 21 is just another milestone really.

Drinking age was 18 at that time, so 21 was no big deal! I imagine chocolate cake was involved, but other than that, I don't remember anything special about that birthday.

Mardi Gras parades. Had been plenty times before since I live in Nola & had drank alcohol at them before. But, was able to buy my own drinks & legally do it all!

Don't remember anything special. As far as I remember, drinking age for Ohio back then was 19, so it wasn't like a sudden freedom. They did change the laws sometime after that to age 21.

It was a weekday - went out to dinner and ordered my first legal drink…and they didn’t even card me! Oh the irony. That weekend we went out with a bunch of friends to a few different bars/ I was one of the last in my group to turn 21.

Couldn't tell you, probably out to a restaurant or bar? Drinking age here in BC (Canada) is 19 so that's the 'big' birthday, 21 isn't a 'thing' here.

Went out with all my friends at college and drank and danced. My son is turning 21 on the 25th and will be home from college so he wants to be with our family...I sure never felt that way.
But he is taking a trip with his dad and brother to see the Raiders play in Seattle, so he is not too abused.

Reaching age 21 wasn’t anything special when I was younger. Driving and voting and alcohol purchasing were all done at lower ages.

I was a partier and drinker back then so I went out drinking. I don't remember, must have been a good night, LOL.

Went to a local college bar with friends. It was also the Friday of finals week, so our last hurrah of the school year.

I don't even remember. I think we went down to the casinos, which I had been to previously, but of course couldn't play. Honestly I preferred just going down to play in the pretty good arcades and eat anyway! I know I didn't do the typical drinking stuff since it never appealed to me.
