What did you buy at WWOHP?

I got a ravenclaw T-shirt for me and a Hogshead ale mug for my DD to go with her butterbeer souvenir mug.

A "I served time in Azkaban" T-sirt for DS.

DD got a gryffindor scarf, remembrall, purple fitted longsleeve Hogwarts T (the sizing was terrible on these and we had to exchange it) black Hogwarts sweatshirt, pygmy puff, spectrespecs. She really wanted a time turner keychain, she saw someone buy the last one and they never restocked the 4 days we were there. She had wanted a jersey that was half black and red and said Potter on the back, we could find every size but S both in Dervish and Banges and the store in the front of IOA, the XS was too small and the M too big.

Also some chocolate frogs, peppermint toads, and Bertie Botts beans.

See my post above. They have the time turner keychain available online, but I'm not sure about the jersey 9in case you need something for Christmas:)).

A couple of questions about the Pumpkin Juice.

1. What does it taste like?

2. What is the consistency?

3. Most important - for anyone that saved their bottle - does it have Nutmeg in it? I'm allergic. If the label has the generic "spice" I will have to dig further before going to WWOHP and I would really like to try it.

taste: think apple cider with pumpkin pie spice
consistency: like any other fruit juice
ingredients: water, apple juice concentrate, pumpkin puree, apricot puree, sugar, natural & artificial flavors, citric acid, acesulfame potassioum, sodium benzoate

Hi... I'm a newb... We went to WWOHP 1st week of July... it was great.

Dumbledore wand $32.95
Heromine Granger wand $32.95
Hogwarts T-shirts $24.95
Gryffindor t-shirt $24.95
every flavor beans $9.95
Chocolate frogs $9.95
Hogowarts fabric patches $6.95

I do have a question...
i caught the bug and wanted to collect the WWOHP chocolate frog cards.... i purchased a Salazar Slytherin card on ebay. When i got it.. i noticed it was different than the Rowena Ravenclaw card I had. The Slytherin card was lighter in weight... the back of the card, where the text is was blue on Slytherin and black on my original Ravenclaw card. And the final thing that made me suspicious was there is a spelling error in Salazar Slytherin's name. Has anyone else noticed differences in the cards? i'm wondering if i got 'duped' on ebay :( or maybe cards were made from different manufacturers.
Thanks in advance,
Dana (dsquard)

I thought it tasted like pumpkin pie in juice form. Hard to explain because it's such a unique flavor. Honestly, I didnt care for it much, which bummed me out because I was so excited to drink it.:rotfl: I think though it might be good warmed up on a crisp, cool fall night at a Haunted Hayride. Ice cold in the July heat, just didnt work for me.

As for the nutmeg, it is not specifically listed on my bottle but it does say "natural flavors" which could be anything. There is a certain nutmeg taste to it, but whether that is an artifical taste or natural, is uncertain.

My son has set his heart on getting a plush 'Fluffy' whilst we are at WWOHP and I wanted to know if anyone has seen/bought one and which shop would he be in?!!!
Thanks so much!
Debsxx;)

DD has already asked for a robe and I have warned her they may be too pricey. Are they selling children's robes? Is it fair to guess the price would be around $70 or $80 if the adult robes are $100?

Also, does anyone know what the January wand is?

I think we'll be hitting the halloween stores for a robe. :) I know she's going to want a wand and an owl. Are there several options for buying an owl? on the US web site, it looks limited.

Can't answer your question about the chocolate frogs but wanted to say :welcome:

OK, not spelling a wizard's name doesn't sound quite right:rolleyes:, but other than that they may just be made from two different manufacturers or at two different times. We bought one chocolate frog when we were down the first week of June and got Ravenclaw - thick cardboard with a dark, dark blue background. Just a few weeks ago we were traveling and had a layover in the Orlando airport (fun, right?) We grabbed two more frogs getting Gryffindor and Hufflepuff - Gryffindor is the same quality as the first, but the Hufflepuff is a much thinner paper stock and a much brighter blue background. It looks to be cheaper quality and I was thinking that they might have changed to lower manufacturing costs, but it is definitely two very different types of cards. :confused3

Hello, I think I can help you as I´ve got my cards by buying them at universal (lucky me I bought 3 chocolate frogs and got all different cards! Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin). My two cards feel to have the same weight, Rowena´s card on the back is completely blue with white letters and Slytherins has also white letters but the middle part where it´s written the color of the back is black. Name not misspelled in mine. Another difference is that on the Slytherin card its back is not as smooth as my other cards you can feel the texture from the hologram on the front. By the way my Hufflepuff card is exactly the same on the back as Ravenclaw, no idea why Slytherin is black in the middle or doesn´t feel as smooth.

Thought I saw it somewhere in here but I can't find it now and I didn't see any on the actual Universal store site. Are there Prefect pins?

I called Universal Merchandising because I had a question about the sizing of the robes because on their website they don't specify whether the robes are adult or child sized. The XXS and the XS will fit children, but they are ALL $99. As much as I would love to get one for my daughter, $99 is a bit too much. I went to the Halloween store and bought the Hermione deluxe licensed costume instead for around $40. Its probably not as nice of quality but I refuse to spend that much money.

Any Hedwig items available?

You can purchase Hedwig (stuffed of course) and Hedwig mugs.

Here is a picture of the robes in the large souvenir store at the park exit.
