What did you bring or wished you would have brought to make your trip easier??

Oh Yeah!
Since I'm a scrapaholic
I prepare large ziploc bags for each day, labelled with the date. Inside each is a paper so I can quickly jot down where we went that day, the funniest event...... I also put all my receipts of that day in the bag. AAAAANNNNNNDDDDDD the number of my roll of film used that day. Last trip 24 rolls for 7 days.

WET WIPES!!! Never travel without a huge supply of them!! I forgot them one day in MK and only realized this after we had already staked out our spot for parade and kids had finished their mickey bars:earseek:

We brought the folding potty seat for DD 3yrs old on this past May trip. It was a life saver since she is so petite. It fits right on top of the seat and it has little handles on both sides for her to hold on to. It folds into 4ths and I would put it in a ziploc bag and put it right into the backpack. I used to wash it out in the hotel room each night. It really was nice that she was able to sit on her own without me having to hold her over the seat or try and let her position herself just right on the "big potty!" HTH.pirate:

I just bought one of these from LTD - a Dora the explorer one. Really cheap too only like $7. You can also buy the paper toilet seat covers - on $1 at Walmart.

Has anyone seen these? when you purchase a case of beer it comes in a collapsable cooler. It folds down flat and you can use it in your room To keep pop, milk ,juice , bottle of wine ,well you get the picture:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Family Dollars has them here in STL and Walgreens has them too. Walmart has them too.

We use beach towels as blankets on the way down. THe kids love this, and then it's something they can use at the water parks when we arrive.

I LOVE that idea!! I just had a "duh, why didn't I ever think of that" moment, lol! The kids and I always freeze in the car so I usually throw in blankets, but using the towels is a much better idea since I pack those anyway! That will save me some extra space. Thanks for the suggestion!

I hope you don't need it, but be sure to take a thermometer!!

I also put a ziploc bag that has over the counter medicines, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol tablets, Imodiium, Alka Selzer, Neosporin, bandaids, etc. These things are very expensive at the hotel gift stores and you never know when you need them. They all come in travel sizes and have been a life saver for me during my many trips. HTH

Tweezers. They came in handy when my then 5 year old son shoved cotten up his nose!
