Sorry if this is a stupid question...do you just use brownie mix or is there a recipe you prefer? These would definitely be something my DH would LOVE!

I'm in the process of doing 120 sweet biscuits for strawberry shortcakes for a church event tomorrow. It's taking longer than I expected. I was given the recipe and I'm not loving it but they will get what they asked for.

My daughter and I made cake pops. They have white cake inside... and we decided that the white cake and vanilla candy coating was a little too much vanilla. We dipped some i dark choclate and like that combo better. So we might try them again with chocolate cake and vanilla coating and see how that combo is.

We've been blessed with a bounty of stone fruit (yum!). Baked an apricot, aprium crisp which turned out great. DH ate the last of it today, so tonight I'll bake an apricot, aprium, peach crisp. Love, love, love stone fruit season!

I just made Texas Brownies. They are always a big hit and absolutely delicious. They are better kept refrigerated. The hot icing is poured over the hot cake and then when it cools, into the fridg it goes. My grandson absolutely devours this, so I am giving half to him and half to my son and family. It makes a big cake and I use a large jelly roll pan.
Love the wonderful dishes everyone makes on here. It makes me very hungry!!!!!
