It's 2003 and we never went over there during WW2.

"Auf wiedersen."

What did the person from the US say to another person from the US in 2003, if the French never came here during the Revolution?

Nothing. There would not have been an United States of America

Their role in the revolutionary war was not nearly as important as our role in World War II. We formed the nation with minimal help from them. We saved the world with no help from them. The Frenchies you know their attitude with Hitler appeasement and then run when he takes over your country. Looks like they're appeasing Saddam now, and we're going to have to lay the smackdown on his roody poo candy --- just as we had to do to Hitler.

Whatever
You act like the French just sat there eating brie and waited for the Americans to come and save them.

"Sacre Bleu! Why should we fight? We'll drink wine and wait for the Americans to save us as thanks for helping them win their Revolution"
Me thinks you might want to actually read some French history.
I have relatives that died defending their country in WW2. To imply they did nothing but sit on their tushes and wait for the Americans to come is an insult to them, and to everyone that died.
