what did milesoure do to redemption?!?

has anyone tried to redeem lately??? i have been trying for the past 2 weeks and have not been able to. well today i can but they no longer have supercertificates!!! this is what i have been saving up for. if i cant get these then the program is no longer beneficial for me! i liked this one too.

can anyone help me figure out what to redeem for? thank you. sorry for the rant.

Ouch! I just went to MileSource to see if it's true!

Since you were redeeming for a SuperCertificate, I'm assuming that you have at least 3,500 AwardMiles. With that, you can get $25 Hyatt or $25 Marriott GC's which can be used at their Orlando locations.

If you'll be renting a car while in Orlando, there are Avis and Hertz $25 certificates. I believe they are stackable.

For 2,500 AwardMiles, you can get 2 movie tickets for AMC, General Cinemas, Hoyt's Cinemas, National Cinemas, United Artist or Regal Cinemas. You can also get 3 Blockbuster or 3 Hollywood Video rental certificates.

You can also redeem for whatever cheesy stuff they have in their own "Milesource AwardMile Redemption Certificate". It looks like the junk that other sites will offer up for free if you just pay the shipping.

I'm not crazy about the options available to the citizen of the USA (Canadians seem to have more palatable choices). So, after I cashout, I'm gonna be done with Milesource. They've been too much trouble for wayyyyy too little reward. I'm just glad that I didn't shop through them!

thank you for the help. but i am staying on site and i dont rent a car. i get too lost too easy.

i just emailed milesource about my displeasure and hopefully more people will too. and if we are lucky maybe they will bring them back. i dont usually email places but i am truly upset about this. supercerts were the reason i did the program to begin with.

Just when I got into the habit of doing this program every day

I looked everyone and see nothing for SCs anymore. I did send them an email asking if this was permanent and voicing my displeasure. Not much else I can do, but sad to see those go!

I have 3,306 points! And this must have just happened in the last day or 2, because I checked specifically for the Super Certificates just the other day.

I sure hope they bring them back, that is the only reason I do Milesource.

Geeeeeez !!! I have almost 9000 points and would have cashed out in about two weeks for a $75 SC.Now that really makes me angry at myself for not cashing out at $50.

I am at 3410 and was going to cash out for a SC for Rainforest, hopefully for our November trip, but probably for my December trip!! I guess I'll give it a couple of weeks, but then will probably cash out for movie tickets on all of our family accounts and then ditch Milesource if they don't bring back SuperCertificates!!

But then again, maybe we can hope they will bring in WebCertificates, since they seem to be having so much trouble with SCs.

I'd noticed some changes the other day (or maybe it was last week ), but the SC's were still there when I checked! If they don't get them back, or get Webbies , then I guess I won't be doing MS any more. Too bad, I really liked this program, but there's no sense doing it if they don't have anything I want. I was just about to convince DH to sign up, too. No sense in doing that now, at least not till we see what happens.
I will go there now to send off an email voicing my displeasure.

I ordered a SC in the beginning of August. Never received it. Wrote to them last week. They responded the next day asking for the original e-mail confirming the SC. I sent it to them. Two days later I received an e-mail in which they said they were sorry for the delay but all SC's ordered the beginning of August were lost. Two days after that I received my SC. So evidently they can respond in a timely matter. Needless to say I was pleased with the response. I very rarely do milesource anymore though.

Ugh! Milesource is hard enough to get points, but now with nothing to work for....Sad...I guess I will be getting AMC Gift Certificates though now...We always go to the movies at PI, so this will come in handy...
