What did/are you making for Mother's Day?

At the last minute, I decided to alter some letters. So I'm doing N for Nana, G for Grammy and L for my sister (her name is Lauren). It's 10:45pm and I'm just getting started. It's going to be a long night.

I got my mom a ring BUT I did make her card and I bought one of the simple plain bags, no handles, at Wal-Mart. I cut it down, decorated it and added ribbon handles. it came out adorable and goes with the card perfectly. I'm so happy with it!

I made my mother a scrapbook album to put journmaling and pictures of the grandkids in.

Hi. I have all day to do what ever, Dh & DD 18 have to work all day. DD 14 is here and is watching a new movie. So I am heading to my own scrapbooking room to get some organizing done.
I did buy two cheaper Mothers Day cards at the $ Store and I cut them appart and revamp them. Won't see our mothers until this week. Bye for now I am going scrapping.

We are taking stepping stones that I got at Home Depot for $1 and painting the kids hand prints on them, dating them and then sealing them. We'll give them out later this week.

I bought gifts. My mom is in PA and I sent her a really cute top (she loves clothes) but I made the card. MIL - I always go to the garden store with her and she picks out a hanging plant plus I help her get plants for her pots, then plant them. It's become a ritual. I also made a card. See below:

I smudged a little biit but mil won't care - she might not even notice I made the card.

I made 3 paper bag albums w/ photos and journaling..
My mom's was a great kid book...
MIL's was a family book...
Grams was a family book...

Does it count if I got them done before Mothers Day but not to them on time! I am sooo bad!!!

I made two exploding boxes one for each mom. They turned out really nice. I thiny they will really like them, especially since they are filled with pics of their grandkids!

I also "helped" my BF make an 8x8 album for his mom (so he cropped pictures and I put it all together )

I made a paperbag album for my MIL. Used the Easter pictures and then left some pages for her to put on the pictures she took that day.

I also let my MIL have my youngest for the week (preschool is over early here) and I made him. Does that count?

My Mom, she got flowers & some jewelry. She wouldn't appreciate a handmade card. She would think it was "cheap".
