What Days for Which Parks?

Dec 30 - Jan 5 2022 is the tentative trip. 5 days, which parks and which days? What would you recommend?

Two days at Epcot? Also, what's your reason for DHS on the 1st? Thanks for the help!

Who is in your party and what are your general goals? I will say that Dec 31st is notoriously one of the most busy days at Epcot. It really turns into a party zone. If you are into that and don't mind crowds, great. If you want to attempt to avoid hoards of drunk adults I would pick another park. Generally Animal Kingdom is pretty tame in comparison, although really all the parks will be pretty packed.

I was thinking of doing AK on the 31st!! Not sure about the 1st though - some are recommending that as my DHS day? Would crowds be lower on the 1st than the 2/3/4? Want to get BG for rise...

Based on experience and some questimates, I can see Epcot being slower in the 1st. If everyone went there on the 31st they may move on to another park the next day. But like I said before, that whole week is pretty insanely busy so I'm not sure if there is a whole lot of difference. Since the 3rd is a Monday and generally when schools start back up again it could be a slower day, along with the 4th.

hmm ok so maybe DHS on the 3rd or 4th is a safer bet. We don't have much we want to see at Epcot and are leaving AK early on the 31st to do an early RD on the 1st so maybe will do MK instead of DHS. Wish we didn't have to reserve ahead of time for more flexibility ugh

Also do you think we should add another day at DHS? maybe switch a MK day? worried we won't get through everything or miss Rise - will likely end up paying for Genie+ but I guess we'll see
