what day to go to universal studios

hi we are going to disneyland in march with two kids 6and 13 we are reaching on wednesday morning and coming back following monday night.we cannot decide what day we should go to universal we were thinking to go there on monday because our flight leaves at 8pm we are renting car or should we go there some other day

I don't think it really matters which day you go, whatever fits into your schedule best. US is not that busy compared to DL. We went last summer on a Saturday and it was not busy at all.
