Just curious what day you all usually arrive for your trips? If you vary on arrival days, please choose your preferred arrival day.

Thanks!

i kind of just show up... i have noticed over the past few trips though it has been on a thursday.

For the most part I have arrived on Fridays for trips since most are long weekends but this trip I'm arriving on Monday and I can't wait to enjoy the parks on the weekdays. :)

We like to leave on Friday nights at about 5:00 PM. That way you get to maximize your time at Disney and minimize the amount of time you have to take off from work. This way we wake up in the world and get a full day in, rather than a travel and exhausted half day in the parks

Sunday's for us most of the time if not Sunday it's Saturday.::yes:: :wave2:

I prefer to arrive on Thursday but next trip I will arrive on Friday. The day after Thanksgiving to be exact :teeth:

Previosly we have arrived on a Saturday at about 11:00 in the morning...plenty early to avoid the crowds driving in, or so it seems. This time we will be arriving on a thursday and even earlier in the day, hopefully 10ish.

Right behind you!!! I'm so excited ;)

We leave after school is out Friday, then stay first night at AllStars before checking in at DVC.

The last two trips have been on Tuesdays... this trip we are arriving on a Monday afternoon.

last 2 trips have been thursday arrivals and we've decided to make that our tradition.

the next thursday departure that my husband has approved is 2/3/05! since we've been there 3 times in the last 18 months (him-only 1 time, he just doesn't get it), i've agreed to wait until then.

so, the kids and i will arrive on thursday, february 3 of 2005 and have dinner that evening at crystal palace! or ohana! or chef mickey's! oh well, dinner at disney world that evening, lol!

This March will be the third time we have had the same pattern. We arrive on Monday and leave on Saturday. We get to WDW Monday afternoon and enjoy splashing around in the pool and going to DtD. Tuesday through Friday are park days. Saturday is departure.
We are driving for the first time in March, so our arrival time won't be as exact as when flying. Also, we will have UPHs that kick in on Tuesday so we may spend some time in the parks on Saturday before heading home.

Traditionally, we've arrived on a Saturday or Sunday, then stayed until the following Saturday or Sunday.

But then it occurred to us... by doing that we're lumping in two busy times (the weekend we arrive and the weekend we leave).

On our next trip we will be planning to arrive on a Wednesday, or maybe, Tuesday. That way we have as many "light" crowd days as possible in our week stay.

I see we are in the Minority but Mondays work best for us. I work weekends only so we can leave on Monday at 7 AM and be there by 8:30 AM and not have to take any vacation. We find the parks are less crowded on non weekend days.
BTW - We leave this coming MONDAY!

Although we always check into Disney on a Saturday morning (always take the first flight out :hyper: ), this year we are flying in on Friday night and staying at Wyndham Plaza for the night.

We've always arrived on a Sunday afternoon, spent the evening at DTD, spent Monday through Friday in the parks, and left on Saturday morning. This year we're staying longer than usual so we'll be trying something new.

We'll arrive Saturday afternoon, spend the evening at DTD, spend Sunday through Saturday at the parks, then leave Sunday morning.

We usually arrive on Saturday evening but after all these years of NEVER being able to sleep on Friday night, we decided to take the afternoon off work on Friday and leave after my DD gets out of school. That way I'll be able to work off that nervous energy with travelling and we'll start out bright and early to the parks on Saturday! We leave at 7 pm the following Saturday.
