We had a friday night wedding Dec 27, 1996. It was cool.

Friday night, December 10th, at 7:30, during a snowstorm. It was in a small country church my great-grandfather built. The Church was lighted only by candles. :)

My DH and I were married Saturday 4/4/98. It's four months and four days between our birthdays, so that's why we chose it. We were married in SEDONA, AZ and it was a beautiful day and we had family in from all over the country (I think that's why Saturday's win- travel and all).

We had our honeymoon in Italy. And got to visit his brother who couldn't make it to the wedding. They lived there at the time, now they are back in NY. *(Sister in law is Italian).

What a fun poll! Thanks!

What day??? I can't remember if it was Friday or Saturday. I know we got married at 3 in the morning!!

Nov. 26, 1994. I just checked. It was a Saturday.

It seems strange but we eloped in Vegas and got married in the drive through chapel. :teeth: It wasn't an impulsive thing, we had planned it for months but we just "forgot" to invite anyone.

Looks like Saturday is the most popular day to get married.
We were married on Saturday May 3rd 1986

I got married on March 6th, it was a Wednesday. I chose that day because it was the 5th anniversary of our first date.

A Saturday afternoon in October~ the foliage was gorgeous!! I don't think I've ever been to a wedding that wasn't on a weekend! I was surprised to see so many weekday weddings!

Thursday 9/9/99

Denise < --- figgered he'd never forget THAT date ;)

Tuesday and Wednesday. I was in the Marine Corps, it was 1984, and we wanted to get married on Valentines Day. However, my boss wouldn't allow me time off to get the liscense, so there we were at the last minute getting it. We figured, no problem, my leave started on that Monday, the 13th, and we could get it then. Monday the 13th, in Illinois however, was a state holiday at the time - for Lincoln's Birthday. So, we had to have a giant dress rehearsal instead of the actual ceremony as planned (even had the arced sabre's going). We then went to the reception, where we had a big party with our guests. We then went back to the chapel to get married at midnight +1 on Wednesday morning (with a 7:00 am flight to Disney). It was a very interesting night.
