What CROCS did for me!!

Thanks!

I'll have to check out their site again...

How much was their shipping and handling, do you remember?

Taylor Shoes charges $5 on unlimited quantities anywhere in the US. Their tollfree number is 866-999-8816. They have a couple of people working there that are very knowledgable about Croc sizings, etc. They also may not have their website updated as to what colors are in stock. I think it's just a family owned store.

ETA: I just checked the Taylor website and in Niles they are out of fuschia, lime green, yellow and navy but they have about 10 other colors (including pink, 2 blues and butter yellow).

I just bought two pairs yesterday at Dicks Sporting Goods. They still had quite a big selection. I bought the Beach pink for DD and a navy pair for my DS. I was wearing DD's pair around the house before she got home and OMG how comfy!!! I may be borrowing them since all three of us wear the same size right now, that is until their feet grow!

Thanks SO much!

I'm headed there now!

I got my pink Nile's from Zappo's on Thursday. I wore them for two hours in the mall and I got such a blister from the rivet. I sent them back today. What a shame! They were so comfy. I wear a size 6 1/2 and ordered a size 6. I think I will wait until my blister heals up and maybe order a size 7 and see if that makes any difference. It would have been so nice if Crocs had covered up that rivet somehow.

I am going to Dillards today to buy DD (6) her Crocs. (most online places have been backordered for kids crocs, Dillards said they have a bunch - Nordstroms too)

That said, I was going to buy Purple, thought it would get less dirty. Or will Purple and pink get dirty the same? Should I get her fuschia? She really wants pink. How do you clean Crocs?

Help!!! And thanks in advance for the answers!

I just got a pair of Croc sandals from Zappos. They don't have many colors left but they came very quickly. The shoes are FABULOUS! Very comfortable without socks, not hot like my vinyl gardening clogs, clean easily (important since I had to settle for lt blue, not a dark color) and light as feathers.

Does anyone have the butter shade of Crocs? How bright are they? I mean, are they as bright as the yellow or as subtle as the khaki?

I ordered a pair in black from Dillards.com, and they just shipped today! :Pinkbounc I had a gift card, and I thought it would be great to "try" them without spending any of my $$.

If I like the black pair, I am going to get either pink, butter, or sage. I'm even thinking of getting a fuchia pair for my 20 month old. Has anyone bought them for their toddlers?

I just rinse them off. They have something anti bacterial built in :wave2:

I don't own the butter color, but have seen them and I would say they are as subtle as the khaki, which I own. Actually, the butter was my second choice if they didn't have the khaki in my size.

And for GoofyDisney...how to clean your CROCS?
I actually got tar stuck on the bottom of mine when the weather got blistery...just take a bucket with bleach...I used about 1/4 cup to 1 gallon of water...and let them soak. Okay, the hard part is keeping the CROCS under the water...I finally weighted them down with a wooden spoon stuck inside and wedged against the bucket. While I was at one of our local hospitals, a nurse told me she just takes hers in the shower to clean them.

Thanks for the info! :sunny:

ETA: My crocs were delivered today, and I LOVE THESE SHOES!! I can't wait to get another pair! :Pinkbounc

I found out about Taylor shoes on this thread....just don't ask me where, it was probably 30 pages ago! ;) Anyway, the shipping is only $5.00 and the web page is soley devoted to Crocs. I was wondering how long the shipping would take, so I called the toll free number listed on the web site and spoke to a very nice man named David. He told me that if I placed my order by 1:00 on the web, he would be able to get it packaged and put in today's mail pickup which comes just after 1:00 (CST, they're in Kansas). So, I confirmed the time zone difference with him, then he asked me what I was looking for. I told him Red Nile size 11, and he said he had at least one pair left so if the web site said it was out of stock to call him back and he'd take the phone order for me. Well, I called back in 5 minutes and was able to place my order. He was sooooo nice and very appologetic because he was trying to help the other sales people in the store fill orders for the customers that I could hear in the background. He told me that if the stock runs low on a particular shoe, then he pulls it off the web until he can get more in, so call if you can't find what you're looking for. The store seemed very busy while I was on the phone, the door kept chiming every 20 seconds or so while people came and went in the store. I told him that Crocs hadn't really caught on in MA yet. He told me that the kids shoes were the most popular in his store, he can't keep them on the shelves.
Anyway, great web site, very nice salesman that answered the phone. Best of all....I'll have my Crocs by Tuesday!!!! :earboy2: I've been wearing my Beach pair almost everyday since April and they are getting pretty worn. I just can't bring myself to wear anything else!

Taylor Shoes has a new shipment in. I ordered lime green and blue Niles and they were shipped today. Yea!!

I dont know if anyone else saw this but Faith Hill is making CROCS famous.
http://www.cmt.com/news/articles/1506840/20050802/hill_faith.jhtml?headlines=true about the middle of the page in an interview is this:
You're a big trendsetter. What's "in" right now that you love?

I'll tell you what I love. There's some shoes that I found that I wear every day. It's a wonder I don't have then on right now, but they're called Crocs. You know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, they're the kind you can rinse out and they're lightweight.

Well, first, they're really really comfortable. Second, the whole family can wear them because they come in kids sizes and they come in every color, and you wash them. I wash them every night. So it's like having a new pair of shoes every day because you can wear them in the mud. You can walk all day in them.

This is what men on tour buses need.

They do. I mean, that's true. ... They're great, and they're reasonably priced. They're like $35-$37, which is good for a pair of shoes that you can wear all the time, right? I'm very practical. I love them.

I was the one that posted about Taylor Shoes originally. I think David is the store owner. If you e-mail or sign up on their website, they will e-mail you and let you know when a new shipment is in. They called me once too.

I may head on over to the mall today and see what they have.

P.S. I saw Andy Dick on the Regis and Kelly show with a pair of Black Crocs.

I found a store filled with just Crocs!!!

It's in the Oaks Mall in Gainsville, Fl. They had all styles, colors and sizes of Crocs, even kids sizes. The name of the store is Gainsville Beach Club. They even had Crocs T-shirts!

I talked to the owner who was very nice and he let me know he also has a web page- http://www.motioneazeflorida.com/crocs.htm

I bought my kids each a pair today. We couldn't believe we found a store devoted to Crocs.

For anyone driving down to WDW, the Oaks mall is right off of I-75 about 30 miles or so before the Disney Welcome center.

I got my niles in navy & lime green 2 days ago and they are AWESOME!! :)

I'm not too fond of the Cayman style. My feet just don't fit right in them. But I am loving the Niles. Everypne at work has been asking me where I got them. :)
