Well, Dchef and the rest of ya'll who posted saying CROCS were the most awesome shoe...here's to ya
CROCS honestly saved my trip to WDW this past week. We were there from 6/1 - 6/6 and my khaki Beach CROCS were on my feet everyday except for about 5 hours on our first full day when I wore my $80 Nike sneakers...big mistake....big ol' blister! Since we were stopping at the room before heading out that evening, I switched to my CROCS and never looked back!!
It rained everyday of our trip except yesterday and then I'd bet it did after we left at 7pm from the look of that sky. While DH and DS were sloshing through the parks in wet socks and sneakers, I just walked through the 2 inch puddles without a care while wearing my CROCS. Okay, I did get squishy toes for a couple of minutes, but then dried within 10 minutes.

I never experienced any slips other than my own toes inside the shoe a bit. I did start to notice a red spot on the inside of my left ankle, just above where the strap connects to the shoe near the end of the day on occasion...finally figured out what was happening...as the day passed my feet swelled and my left ankle was broken as a teen and it's not quite "right" as for shape so when my ankle swelled, the skin rubbed on the shoe...but no blister. I know about the "rash" someone mentioned, I had trouble keeping the strap in front of the ankle (on top of the shoe)...it kept coming loose and would hit my ankle as I stepped forward...again, no blister - just a redness on the skin, similar to a carpet burn.
This trip ended up being a contest for DS and myself after he realized he HAS to have a pair of Beach CROCS for himself now...

I told DH and he about CROCS making the badshoe.com site and some of the other shoes I'd seen there. So, DS and I went around the parks saying "badshoe" or "CROCS" when we spotted one of them. We counted 30 - 35 pairs of CROCS during the 6 days....khaki, black, blue (each of the 3 shades), pink, purple, butter, white, red, orange, yellow, brown, and our DIS fav's - lime green. The purple seemed to be the most popular color and the majority we saw were real CROCS not the Payless knockoffs. I spoke with several fellow CROC wearers who said the same thing...best shoes they've worn in the parks.
So, now my quest is to find a pair for DS in a color he likes and to get myself another pair of Beach CROCS for my Christmas trip back at WDW.
Just had to let ya'll know how great they are...like ya didn't already know.
