Been to Australia but would never want to live there. Once (actually twice) was enough.
Probably in the Caribbean or South/Central America. Somewhere that's a slower pace of life, and surrounded by nature.
I think you and I are exact opposites! I lived in Perth, Australia for four years, and seriously considered staying. If it hadn't been so far away from our families in Canada, I'm sure we would have permanently emigrated.
Having lived three years in Chile, there is NO way I'd want to settle here. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of good things about the country and the way of life, but I am so ready to move again.
Given all the options, though, and having lived abroad three times (the other was in Indonesia), I can truly say that there's no place like home. We have one more year here and then I hope to settle permanently back in BC...but with lots of trips to keep my travelbug satisfied!
If I was kicked out of Canada, my first choice would be the west coast of the US (maybe Oregon?); second choice would be Australia.
