What constitutes a "split stay"? with regard to DDP...

I had a ressie for 4 nights, then one night on cash, then one night on points. BUT, then my waitlist came thru and now my ressie on line looks like this:

4 nights (points), 1 night (points), 1 night (points)

I'm considering getting the QSDP - can I just get it for the first 4 nights? Meaning - is my stay above considered a "split stay"?

I think your question is moot. I believe you can now get DDP for any part of a reservation you want, as long as everyone on that reservation gets the same thing. That's a very recent change.
