What comes with concierge cabin?

Now, Ashley (?), I had a normal conversation with him.

We had Ashley on the Dream on our first DCL cruise (we defy the "never go back to regular" mindset). He's the one who was so excited I asked for another couple of diet Cokes he brought like a 12 pack personally (because we were SO low-maintenance he was THRILLED one of us asked for something). Lol.

We went concierge, then Inside, then huge porthole (dream 6666 awesome room and the looks you get when you say the room number are awesome) stateroom, then concierge. Or those last two are mixed up. I go for interesting rooms at good prices.

We have never had Andy on the Magic. It has always been Michelle and Julia and we were sad to hear that Julia is no longer with DCL. Guess we will finally get to meet Andy on our next Magic cruise

What the heck do you get on DCL that can command that price?!?

It's simple supply and demand. The entire DCL fleet has less than 100 suites total at any given time to serve 500+ million potential customers with one of the most desirable products available. My own best guess is that the two new ships will have considerably expanded concierge concept, like Norwegian's "The Haven". That could put prices under pressure for a while for the classic and Dream-class ships.

Like you, I switched to RCL for our upcoming cruise. I love and prefer Disney, but the teenagers in our family were more excited about trying something new. Plus, we can stay 8 people in a 1500 sq feet suite on the Allure for roughly the same price I paid for a Cat T (600+ sq feet?) on the Fantasy at the same time of the year. Next time, though, I still want to book DCL again.

Try being a Canadian! That $31 thousand dollar price tag would actually be over $40 thousand for us yikes! While I'd LOVE to try concierge, we will have to wait for the big lottery win before we go for it lol!
