We are going to watch a movie with Chip n Dale and curious what comes in the kit you can buy. We were thinking of taking our own smores, but dont know about a stick???

I haven't bought the kit but I think sticks come with the kit. You can also buy extra sticks, I think they are .75 each? They are nice, long, wooden sticks that you throw in the campfire when you are finished. Think giant chopstick.

I don't know how the kit is set up, but I have a tip that may interest you about doing Smores at FW. I have three small kids and I can't get to the campfire and start breaking graham crackers and unwrapping Hershey's bars while I keep an eye on them. So during the afternoon I make my little Smores sandwiches in our camper (stacking the right sized graham cracker, with the right number of Hershey's pieces on top, topped by another graham cracker). I wrap the little bundles in paper towels or napkins and neatly stack them into a small ziploc. I put the whole pack in the fridge until it is time to go, but that probably is unnecessary. Then we take the ziploc, marshmellows, and sticks to the campfire. It is a breeze to open up our little pre-made Smore sandwiches and stick the soft marshmellow in-between. One, two, three, done.

Just an idea that helps us a lot! Enjoy the movie!

that does sound like a great idea! makes perfect sense, and I think will borrow it from you! THANKS!!!

about 30 marshmallows, 2 hershey's bars, 8 graham crackers, 2 wet wipes, 0 sticks. This is $9.50.

sticks are $0.75 each, so $10.25 for kit + 1 stick, $11.00 for kit and 2 sticks

oh! and a bag of marshmallows(same size as the the bag that comes in the kit) is $4.25 and that DOES come with 2 sticks.

Even better use Keebler Chocolate grahams. The chocolate is already there and you get to skip a step and still enjoy your smore.

i buy graham crackers already made to size for smores & instead of chocolate we use recces cups yum yum!!! but the idea of getting it all ready is great. one of us is always the smores maker sounds like it cuts down on time

I realize that I am questioning a castmember who occasionally works at the Chuckwagon, but in my experience, the Smore's kit does come with two sticks. I will confirm this on my next visit.

Also, those of you who wish to monkey with the Smore's recipe should stop. My DD likes to watch the show John and Kate +8, and there was an episode recently where Kate was trying to put banana slices on the 8's Smore's. No wonder John left. Banana slices?

on occasion is once or twice a week. no sticks with the kit, just with the bag of marshmallows.

Well, if the smores kit no longer comes with two sticks that is a new development (as in within the past twelve months). I certainly cannot dispute what you are saying if you work there twice a week.

But, according to these two old posts, the smores kit comes with sticks:

Smores kit post from 9/4/08

So, in 2008, the smores kit came with sticks.

Smores kit post from 11/19/07

So, in 2007, the smores kit came with sticks.

Oh, I should also add that a very reliable website lists the whole Chuckwagon menu, and specifically states that the smores kit comes with sticks. You can read it for yourself right here:

Chuckwagon Menu

And, according to this old man (TCD), every time I have purchased a smore's kit, which covers many times over the past ten years or so, it has come with two sticks. Admittedly, it has been over a year since I have purchased a smores kit. I can't believe that management would be so cheap as to make you buy sticks when they are already gouging the customer for the smores kit.

What am I talking about? Of course I believe it. Maybe I have purchased my last smores kit?

Since you work at the Chuckwagon, maybe you can answer a question for me. I have always wondered who at the Fort selects the movies for each month. Do you know?

i'm pretty sure it's Julie. She's been out for the last few months, but I think that she has still been making the list.
