What color lights do you use on your tree or outside?

Our Christmas tree has multi-colored lights.

The dining room archway garland, and the lights on the table-top tree are white.

DH hasn't put up the outdoor lights in a couple of years, but when he did put them up we had multi-colored ones on the two bushes and light pole on the east side of the house, and white lights along the deck railing on the west side.

We also have a star in the sky (on top of the grain leg) that is predominantly blue, with white lights on the points of the star.

Ok, I am convinced. I'll put the white on the banister and my swags and DH can have his multicolored tree. If the relatives that visit comment I'll just tell them we have a his side and hers side of the downstairs.

I am so behind on decorating this year. We usually put up white net lights on all the bushes across the front of the house and our two trees get lights as well. I also have two little trees in pots that go on either side of my door with lights.

It's funny because even though I like white for our house, I love seeing everyone else's lights be them white, colored or mixed. I will say, that I love the old style big bulb colored lights. We have Kindy's which is a factory store and I saw they have reproductions of those big bulbs now. I couldn't justify spending all that money though when our outside lights are only a few years old and work perfectly. They had these little prelit trees that had pinecone shaped lights that switch from colored to white that if they made on strands to buy and not just those little trees would thrill me and solve all my OCD decorating dilemmas.

There's this house that I pass every evening on my way home.
They have about FortyElevenHundred of those colored LED lights on their house and in their yard...
I swear its gonna cause a wreck!!
