trim, roof, porch, etc?
I can't make up my mind as to what I want! :earseek:
I tried driving around - and I didn't like ANYTHING I saw! (OK I saw one I liked but it didn't have a farmers porch and dormers - and I don't think it would look good with those!)
Only thing I KNOW is that we are going to have Estate Grey Roof, Grey composite decking on all 4 sides (wrap around), White window trim, and posts on the porches...
from there anything goes...
I can't even decided between light or dark much less a specific color!

We just picked Abbey Stone for our new house it is a gray-green and we are doing cream trim. We drove around our neighborhood and picked the colors we liked and then told the designer the address of the house and she pulled up the color scheme. I hope I still like it when they finally paint the house!

Textured red brick with specks of orange, purple and white (you can barely see any of that unless you look really close), off white trim and a green door. I think I have a pic somewhere...

Did you see the pic I had of my house on the lush thread last week? We have a big ol' farmer wrap around porch too. Well, it only goes half way aaround the house, not all the way to the back.
Anywho... We have "linen" siding, which is just a fancy word for slightly off white, brick on the bottom, and dark, brick red shutters and door. The shingles are brown tones with specks.

We have a creamy yellow gambrel, with white trim and a reddish roof with a porch. I have two white rockers on the porch along with my pink ceramic piglet statue. He wears santa earmuffs at Christmas and a black pirate eyepatch at Halloween. During the summer wears a hawaiian print bandana....

anyway, I get lots of compliments on the curb appeal of our house.

Champagne (tan) siding with winestone shutters.

I'm glad I'm not alone. Although I don't have to pick siding color, I was just in tears having this conversation with DH that I don't know if I can handle all these decisions. I make a decision, then I second guess myself, then change my mind a week later.

Arghhhh. Patty, I tried approaching it like making a scrapbook layout & deciding the colors, but I'm never happy with my layouts either. I need a professional. :guilty:

Country Beige with white trim

We have a gray with dark gray trim. The storm door and garage door are white and the outdoor lighting fixtures are white as well. Our deck is a natural wood color. What I like most is our matching shed. When we built it we painted it the exact color as the house and gave it a little window box. Now when I give directions, I say 'the gray house with the matching shed.'

I found a pic of my house right after we put the solar screens on last year.

Don't think the green door shows up too well, but it is a forest green color.

Yellow house, forest green shutters, white trim. Looks very nice, if I do say so myself! ;)

White trim, light blue house- called Cumulus Gray at Sherwin Williams. It may say gray, but it looks blue in the sunlight. I don't know how to add my own house, but here is one the same color:

Ours is gray hardy plank with burgundy shutters.

We have also had pale yellow with black shutter. Like that a lot, too!

Charcoal black roof, Cape Cod gray stain, white trim and black shutters on a ranch style house.

Mary & the 2Poodles
(Sebastian & Winslow)

my house is white with barn red shutters.

Light beige in front, back and second story, red and limestone mixed brick (I think it's called Southwest), tan trim, black shutters..........did have a red door, which I loved, but dh "upgraded" to a wood door with a glass cut window.......it is pretty, but not as punchy as my red door!

Oh, roof is just gray, same as all the rest.

One of my favorite house color schemes is:

khaki siding
white trim around windows and doors
black shutters
red front door

Looks great with black or darker grey roof :)

Very elegant and classic!

'course ours is what it came...boring tan stucco with white trim, no shutters...but hey! It's in FL :sunny:
