WEather report says high 72, low 46 next weekend ,which clothes should I pack
and how cold indeed at night, can I still watch fireworks?

Take everything from shorts/capris and t shirts to sweatshirts and jeans.
We wore both on our Dec/Jan trip, although most days I remember wearing capris and a shirt (light jacket in the evening), but the last day was cold (people were wearing winter coats, hats, and gloves) where we had our "flying home to NJ in January" clothes on and we were warm enough.

:) we are traveling down 11/30-12/06. We live on the Gulf Coast and our temp is close to theirs. I am taking some light weight atheletic wear, not as heavy as sweats. I am also taking a light jacket because places near water tend to get a bit chilly....like a blue jean jacket without lining. I will also take a couple of polo dresses for when we live in the later morning so I will not get too hot, then back to the resort for my more athletic wear in the evening or on the cooler days. You are right it is difficult to pick your clothing. My MIL takes layers...like a camisole, then t-shirt with a long sleeve oxford then a jacket and adjusts during the day---she gets colder than I do.

:) I would say light jackets come on in the upper 60's because of the humidity it is a damp cool. I hope that makes sense, cause if you are from Alaska that seems crazy to wear a jacket when the temp is that warm. :cutie:

Is fleece jacket overkill? Night temperature 48 degree scares me. what about temperature at 10pm, fireworks time.

Nope, not overkill at all. 46 degrees is 46 degrees, no matter where you are! :)

We have been at WDW during Dec., Jan., and Feb., and have gone from shorts in the day to jeans & fleece jackets at night. Like PPs have said, layer and be prepared for a variety of temps. And have fun!

:thumbsup2 and make sure to have gloves and hats too for yourself and the little ones:cutie:

See if you can find a weather forecast that has "hour by hour" temperatures. I think either weather.com or accuweather.com has that feature. Then you can tell if it will be 60 degrees at 8:00 a.m., or 46 degrees at 8:00 a.m.

I would pack a variety of clothes for each person, including a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat. I was at WDW in October 2009, and we had both record-high and record-low temps, all on the same trip. I had plenty of shorts, sleeveless shirts, and sandals, but not enough warm stuff. Because it was pretty breezy on my Epcot day, I was pretty darn cold - searched all over for some knee-socks (finally found something at the Japan pavilion). I was reluctant to pay WDW prices for a warm jacket/sweatshirt two days before I left, so I just layered and toughed it out. It was such a surprise to have such cold weather in mid-October-- I had checked the forecast before I left, but only looked out seven days. Things can change very quickly!

When we were there for NYE '08, we wore capris, tshirt and we tied a hoodie around our waste until the sun went down. It was necessary after dark for sure.
