What clothes to pack for October?

Hi Guys - we're going to WDW Oct 9-16. Can you guys tell me what clothes I should pack - When we've gone in early May it's shorts & short sleeves the entire time. Will I need long sleeves and pants for the evenings in October?

Those are almost exactly the same dates we went this last October, and we wore only summer clothes the whole time. We had gone prepared with some warmer duds, but we sure didn't need them!

Agree with campincorgi - October is not much different from May, especially the time you're planning on going. Late Sept/early Oct is my favorite time of year to visit. Would suggest a light jacket just in case of rain...have a great time!

We were there over our anniversary last October (1st week) and about absolutely DIED it was sooooo hot. We'd only every been there around Thanksgiving and Animal Kingdom especially was warm b/c of all the vegiation. Pack for summer...consider a jacket at night, but we never used one.

We went late in October and it was hot and humid. I did pack a pair of jeans for night time wear (not sure I needed them) and a light sweater (not a sweater but a long sleeve, button up, cardigan like thingy) that I could wear around my waist if I wasn't using it.

I love going in October, I think I am going to alternate October and December trips every year.

[The VWL Five]

We went twice in October. Mostly from the 19th until the end of the month. The weather was mostly very warm (high 80's). We did have two mornings that were COLD (low 40's). We had sweatshirts for us and the kids which worked out. Once the sun was fully up it was fine. Then a day later it was over 90. Go figure.

Bottome line. Shorts, tees and a light jacket/jeans in case.

gee looks like the first part of Oct will be busy just with DIS readers!!!

We are also going to be there OCt 9-16 for our 25th anniversary trip

We were there on our honeymoon (and many times in between )

so it only seemed right to go for our 25th
