What class car do you rent?

We are a family of four, with two kids still in carseats (age 6 and 3 when we go). We will have like 2 large suitcases, maybe a medium sized ones, and some carry on bags.

At home we have a van, so we're not used to dealing with cars. I have no idea what we would comfortably fit into. We can put carry ons at the girls feets if we have to. It is only for a week, but we will be driving from Tampa to Orlando.

What kind of class car would fit us all, but cost is a factor, so as inexpensive as possible!

I usually go full size ... nothing smaller ..

We did fine with a mid-size four door, when we just had the two kids. This year we have two plus one in a carseat, so we opted for a full-size, so that three kids can sit in the back comfortably.

The mid-size four door fit several suitcases in the trunk, and the rest of our junk we put in the backseat on the floor. Hope that helps.
